I ordered the London Fog tea... it's the best I've ever tasted! I especially liked the cinnamon on top...

Was surprised after such great reviews. My barista was not knowledgeable about her menu. I asked what she had similar to a caramel macchiato, and I wanted iced. Needless to say I ended up just ordering a hot butterscotch coffee. Totally bitter. My husband said his milkyway coffee was ok. Not my favorite place!
Always a sweet time and atmosphere when I come here. I haven’t ever gotten anything that I don’t like.
Not much of the food (crepes) is very good as far as I’ve heard, but the apple fritters are huge and only $3.50! The seating is often full (even less of those seats are by outlets) but it’s inviting and casual that I come to study or read about 3 times a week.
I'll be coming to CS for a couple of weeks a month working on a project. Sweet Eugene's has been a spot that I've been visiting to get some work done. It's my kind of shop physically, with lots of seating options in various rooms - tables, chairs, sofas, everywhere. I love that sort of thing. Outlets can be hard to find if you need that. The place gets packed with college students. The coffee is fine and they make daylight donuts, which I love. The staff are nice and fairly efficient. I wish the menu was a little bigger with more than pastries, donuts and microwaved jimmy dean sandwiches. I have determined that for me, this is more of a place that I'd go for leisure activities vs working efficiently. I did go back on a Saturday afternoon with a book, grab a coffee and couch and read. I love the art on the walls (my fav is the Meowna-Lisa). One thing I don't love are the posted signs saying "don't be that person" who brings outside food. It's tacky, and we get it, and if someone is gonna do it, they're gonna do it. Personally, I will always buy a coffee or something at a shop, but if I was having lunch or a snack, I've often brought in fruit or a home made sammie to have along with it. I feel like if you post signs like that, you should have a menu with more variety. If you had a veggie bagel sandwich, I'd totally order it. Having said all that, it's my favorite leisure coffee shop that I've tried so far in CS.
Too crowded. Got our order wrong. It’s also dirty. Restrooms were unclean. This coffee shop was disappointing. Next trip to Texas, we won’t be visiting this place.

Pros: lots of parking, lots of seating, comfortable seating, extensive menu of both sweet and savory foods, lots of coffee drinks, everything is tasty, great servers, excellent hours, outdoor seating, fun relaxed ambiance that's great for studying or hanging out Cons: fellow patrons can get a little loud. Their Italian cream cake was so rich and delicious! Same for the Black Forrest Cake! They have the whole spectrum of drinks, from sweet to bitter coffee and everything in between. Staff are fun and helpful. Orders are filled quickly, even though they were crowded. I really enjoyed pretty much everything about this quirky large coffee shop 😊

I stopped there at 4:45 ish on March 25th and I never got the guy behind the windows name but he definitely made my day. I just found out that my dog is dying and he saw me crying and wrote me a sweet note that said “I hope your day gets better.” My faith in humanity is restored and I’m so thankful for that guy for being so kind to me.
Coffee is amazing, donuts and kolhachies not so much...

This is a perfect coffee shop. Quintessential, even. The coffee is great (try the Eugene or whatever it's called), the pastries don't disappoint, and there's a good amount of seating. Just kidding on that last point. There's never a seat. Ever. During the semester, it's packed from 8am to closing. If you're passing through town on the off-school season, this is a very great spot to relax.
I just relocated and checked out this coffee shop. Love it! The staff is friendly, super fast service and the latte was soooo hot and amazing with a warm blueberry muffin. I need to go back for one of those giant cinnamon bun things 😍
I would highly recommend this place. Great selection of different coffees, smoothies, sandwiches and desserts. Space to find a spot that's cozy. Great atmosphere 👌. Wifi works!!
Love the atmosphere of this place but recently the service has been very poor. Took my husband here for the first time and they completely forgot about his coffee. I received mine and as we were waiting for his, multiple people behind us got their drinks. He had to tell them that he never got his drink. Went through the drive through this morning and waited about 10 minutes for someone to come to the window, I eventually got tired of waiting and drove away.
