I got a single origin pour over for $5 and it wasn’t exactly what I expected. I let the barista know and he kindly gave me a cup of drip on the house. I will give it another try for sure when I’m in town again! Thanks for the great service.

Really nice espresso coffee that is served with a friendly smile & service! Loved the ambience inside the store as well. You can smell the freshly ground coffee beans as soon as you enter the store.

What's the Buzz in College Station. My ideal coffee cashier and barista is a tall bearded man in a flannel who hates me because I dared to order coffee and pull him away from his bean roaster. However, What's the Buzz coffee has opened my eyes to a new kind of barista to look out for. Moms. Who I assumed to be the owner of What's the Buzz is your perfect Dolly Parton southern mom. She talked hard core coffee jargon with me about her new Papua New Guinea beans, and as I left she said "have a safe trip honey" Now, recently the "in" coffee's you'll see are single origin Ethiopians, that are light, bright, and sour. These are some of my favorites, and taste as if a man puts his head right by your ear and begins to scream. What I also tend to like are the classic Italian espressos which are perfectly crafted to feel like boxing match where you get punched in the face and then kissed on the forehead. Papua New Guinea is a nice variation from the ever popular South American beans and current trends. It is a light body with a robust and full flavor of just coffee. It tastes like a hard days work building a house, or a deeply impactful philosophical debate. Simple, strong, and good. It is almost comparable to the Columbian geishia, but that might be going a big too far. I typically despise studying in coffee shops. They are often too cold temperature wise, with uncomfortable chairs, and not enough power outlets. Not to even mention that when you look up from your screen your options are to stare at concrete floor or white brick walls. However this place's theme is "eco-industrial" which has the look of washed out derelict, but overgrown with plants. They also have FREE REFILLS, what? free refills are you kidding me. Free refills of single origin stuff are you for real????? I'm going to die of a heart attack here. Mom/10, good place.

The menu has some interesting items here, cardamom latte is one of those! This is my favorite item here. The quality of coffee is better than many of the coffee places in the area. The service is not consistent. Every time I ordered latte it came in different temperature. The design of the shop is really beautiful.

I’m mad at this place because now I’ll be spending a lot more time and money here. Their fresh roasted coffees make for great coffee in my home. On top of that, whenever I’ll be going there to buy coffee, I will be trying out their espresso drinks because they have a La Marzocco machine and a barista who knows what he’s doing, which means velvety rich espresso shots. Thinking of starting a GoFundMe to fuel my espresso addiction.

The coffee is good, the service is good. It's just only 1 person working today on the weekend, and the line is long and everyone has to wait for a long time to order and get the coffee. I have to add another review after the previous one. We waited for the coffee for a long time AGAIN. Not enough people and not prepared. It's disappointing if it happens like this often especially when your coffee is good.

I almost want to gate keep this shop because it’s so freaking cute but I’m not gonna do that to them. Honestly such great vibes. And great coffee!!

What's the Buzz is a must for picking up good beans in the College Station area. As far as actual espresso drinks go, it's okay. The shots never seem dialed in or the milk never steamed quite perfect. But overall always a good experience

A frequent stop for me when I’m in town. Great coffee and very friendly staff. They also offer informational classes if you’d like to know more about coffee processing, brewing techniques, etc.

My partner and I love coffee, and have made it a point to try every coffee shop in the BCS area over the years we have lived here. We finally got over to try WtB today and What's the Buzz is hands down our favorite. The drinks are smooth, not too sweet, extremely well balanced and flavorful. The pricing is about on par with elsewhere in the area but the quality is much better. Bottom line, make the trip to check this place out if you are like me and don't enjoy (overly sweet battery acid they claim is coffee from) Starbucks.

This place makes their own coffee and the staff is super friendly and very informative on so many things to coffee! They have other local artist who sell plants and candles, art work. I recommend coming here not just the coffee but the ambiance and buying unique coffee items for your home!

This is the kind of local coffee place you want to say is your "to-go" spot. One of the best, if not the best coffee in college station. They say they specialize in espressos, but anything you order there will be good. I've had their Buzz Shaken Espresso drink, along with the Cold Brew and other recommendations, and everything has been delicious. The Cold Brew is certainly one of the strongest cold brews I've had. The vibe space is small, but cozy, and you feel like you're in a coffee factory. They also have the 12th man blends, which are their specialty blends, and I love it - I bought some ground for home. The prices are average, and the employees are so nice. Will definitely be adding it my routine coffee grabs.

Amazing coffee!! I had the cold brew, which was actually concentrated and had hints of sweetness/fruitiness. The buzz coffee was also delicious. Really cozy working area as well!

i was a little hesitant to pay for a $5 americano, but i was pleasantly surprised at how great this coffee is! definitely coming back, i just wish there were more cozy seating options, but this would be a great place to get some work done or meet with people :)
