I hear the restaurant is new. Bless their heart!! Employees ALL tried to offer customer service and did their best to bring out menu food; however, owners have several KINKS to work out: HOT food/drink is 1st priority; training to get food all out at SAME time so whole party can dine together is next; then. having MUCH less salt on all entrees will portray freshness instead of reheated frozen food. I hope to come back in a few months to see if kinks are worked out. The Menu choices of lattes, mimosas, and breakfast items ALL look very appealing. Great looking menu and easy access location!! We had 2 lattes, beignets, 2 shrimp and grits, Avocado toast, and an egg sandwich...all sub par The most enjoyable part of our experience was family time. Thank you for providing another option for family dining.
Cute little place for brunch. The coffee is amazing, the honeycomb latte was delicious. The avocado toast was not from fresh avocados but from avocado spread, but was still delicious. I also got the turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich which was so good.
I’m not a coffee drinker, but the food here is THE BOMB. I’m a New Orleans native and have loved everything I have tried here. They have fresh squeezed orange juice too. Such cute decor, a fun atmosphere, helpful employees and super fast service. Love it!
Today was our first visit, and we had one of our best brunches ever. Great coffee selection ranging from pour-over to Japanese style slow-drip cold coffee. The crabcakes with poached eggs, asparagus and mixed greens salad was fantastic. The delicious crabcakes were perfectly prepared with pure lump crab meat. The asparagus was firm yet tender. The eggs were nicely poached. The poached eggs with ham steak and potatoes au gratin were also delicios. The freshly prepared beignets were light & fluffy and served a tasty sauce. The service was very friendly, prompt & professional. The bright and spacious dining room was very nicely decorated and had a great ambiance. Parking was easy and convenient.
Awesome iced honey decaf coffee, beignets, and poached eggs to perfection.
I love this place! The food and drinks are so delicious!
Great brunch experience.. we got the Frenchman plate with eggs your way, on bacon jam and ham With French toast and a bourbon creme anglaise. Yum!!! I just wish they'd incorporate both menus into one so uou can see all the items online in one space.
Tasty food and breakfast
New favorite brunch place
We ordered the Blackened shrimp and grits and Frenchman street. Both were delicious, hot, fast, and service was amazing. London fog was amazing and drip was good. Love the flavorful breakfast options close to home.
This place has great food! The chia tea was delicious. I had the Canal street platter. Can’t wait to come back and try something else! I gave only 4 stars because when you order food at the counter and pay it asks for tip amount. I don’t know how you can tip when you don’t know what kind of service you will get.
A lot of potential. My wife and I had brunch here and it's still a bit rough around the edges but the flavors were spot on. A good example of what i mean is they have the Best Earl Grey tea I've ever had, when i ordered it the counter attendent asked if i wanted that with 'fog' when i asked what that was she said she did'nt know. Likewise most of the sauces had great flavor but were the consistency of milk. Neither creme anglaise nor beurre blanc should be that thin but they still packed flavor so it's a push in my book. The pastries looked great. The entrees we had we're robust and were served quickly. A lot of potential imo. We'll be back.
Clean place with friendly staff, but the menu doesn’t have much sweet dishes. I hope the menu incorporates more pancakes, waffles, and French toast with fruit or something. It’s all just savory.
I am delighted that this sweet little place is here in south college station! The coffee is of course delicious considering it's Harvest Coffee. The food is definitely more restaurant style where you sit down and eat a full brunch... and WOW, it is tastey. Check it out!
Great all around. A hidden gem. Still quiet
Well loved local coffee concept (Harvest Coffee Bar) moves to South College Station and debuts its sister concept (Uptown Brunch) which features upscale brunch items with a New Orleans flare. You can still order all of their classic drinks (I got the Butterscotch Latte and my friend ordered the Coconut Latte), while exploring the creative new menu items like the Crab Benigets, Blackened Shrimp and Grits, mimosas and more. My friend and I shared the Dessert Beingets - while we were expecting something sweeter, we found they were savorier than expected. If you are a brunch lover who craves Louisana flare, I would definitely recommend giving Uptown's other menu items a try to see if it does New Orleans justice.
Super friendly staff and the food is delicious. The owners are super friendly as well and very welcoming! Such a pretty place and a great restaurant to have a good coffee and good food! Thank you!
Awesome coffee!! Definitely will be back
I have never been so quick to review a place until I came here. The coffee and food here is SO good! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and the chicken salad. AMAZING! The coffee was a 100/10. The ice is perfect (nugget ice), nutty flavor to the coffee, natural sugar and the perfect mixture of vanilla. This chicken salad was perfection. I’m a huge chicken salad girl! It’s savory, clean and fresh! I am literally counting down the hours so I can go get it again tomorrow. That’s how good it was. It even comes with a side salad. Let me tell you, this salad was so good! I’m a ranch type of girl so I was skeptical since it came with a sort of vinaigrette. But my goodness!! This vinaigrette was so flavorful and perfectly combined. I am obsessed. Super refreshing. The meal makes you feel clean. I will be coming back daily! Also, this was all only $10.50, which is a really really good price!
