So weird that this place has a pretty good rating when all they had available was a dry cinnamon muffin. They ran out of decaf but charged us full price for the decaf iced latte with less espresso than they usually use. Last piece of joy was the…aroma? Definitely not like any food place, certainly not a bakery. It smelled like old mop water. Definitely not a great experience, unfortunately.

Walked in around 10:30 or 11 not busy at all, my husband ordered bagels and they said they're out of bagels. Really? At 10:30 in the morning on a Friday you're a bakery. You mean you're either out of dough or you're out of a Baker (but how are you out of just bagels when youre a bakery) it just seems odd. You really should have prepared better for Grad week. So we went over to another location and got bagels. Just another thought maybe they could have suggested that to the patron, to try to salvage to sale. But silly me, staff aren't trained anymore they're just a pulse at the register.

Very disappointed the second time that I’ve come to this location and received cold food. When I took the chili bowl up to the counter, informed the only view the chili that they just gave me was cold in the bread bowl. She informed me that there was a microwave where I can heat the food up! There should have been no need for me to take food to microwave seen how I had just gotten the food from them should’ve come hot off the line !! Guess I’ll have to quit doing business here if I wanted to cold food, I would’ve gone to a fast food restaurant we’re just going home and opened up a canna chili and put it in the microwave. If I was gonna have to use the microwave to heat chilly up it should’ve been hot when you got it! Add to that match, flying around! Not what I wanted to after go through when I’m trying to take a break from work before I go back out to work!

The food was pretty good and the staff was attentive. I think maybe the staff needs to be a little more welcoming, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Initially we were excited when getting our pizza as it looked very tasty, but quickly realized it was sub par. We got the taco pizza, and the steak that was on it tasted a bit rancid. Not to mention, I found a jagged shard of plastic in my food. I’m glad it didn’t break my tooth. The salad was alright, though it’s hard to go wrong with arugula and tomatoes.

Stopped in for coffee and a cookie. The Chocolate Chip cookies were good, as always, and they made fresh, hot coffee. I was really impressed with how friendly the staff were, greeting us and being courteous.

Wanted to try something new while visiting College Station. We visited a little after lunch on a Saturday. I was a little confused as to where to order or go, but the staff was super helpful and friendly! We were able to order and even found some goodies on the way to check out. Food came out fast and looked so delicious! My mom and I had the tomato basil bisque in a bread bowl and shared the club blue sandwich. My husband and son had the pepperoni pizza. It was all so delicious! The bread bowl was flavorful and fun to eat, the sandwich was fluffy and the flavors mixed well. The pizza was thin crust but my husband and son enjoyed it. I would love to return or get one of these in Brenham! The food blew me away!

First time eating at Blue Baker. We had a late lunch. I ordered their new Baja Club sandwich. Loved it, great flavor. The croissant was so tender! It paired perfectly with Jalapeno chips. Peach tea was good too. My dinner companions had the Club Bleu without honey mustard, and the Pepperoni rolls. We shared a chocolate chip cookie (it was huge). The order process was simple and easy to navigate. It's much easier if you review menu before you go. Customer places order at counter, pays, fixes their own drinks, and then pick up the meal when the order number is called. The workers are friendly, but it's more of a self-serve design. The only issue we encountered was the ice machine wasn't working and had run out of ice, but that was corrected before we had finished our meal. The restaurant was pleasant and comfortable with plenty of seating. I personally liked the booth seating which provided more privacy. Blue Baker also offers a communal dining area and outdoor dining as well. Restrooms were also clean. It cost about $40 for all three of us to eat. It was a great place to have a good meal and enjoy conversation.

Decent prices, food is edible. Wouldn't seek it out, as if I wanted a sandwich I can just make it myself for much cheaper and it'll taste better.

I've been going to blue baker since 2010. It never disappoints. I challenge anyone to find a better tomato soup, because I've looked all over Houston, Midland, Dallas and San Antonio. None of them measure up. My go to order is a Tejas Bleu and a cup of that amazing tomato soup 👌🏼
