When I got there someone was waiting at the door to open it for me. I got seated immediately. The waiter was nice, all the food was made right. I got the fried chicken sandwich, my only complaint is I wish the jalapeno bacon was a little spicier

The patty melt was perfection and the atmosphere just adorable for this wild train car in middle of seemingly nowhere. Try the Dr. Pepper blended float!!

This place was cool. Staff was really friendly. Burgers were really good, tots were perfect, cheese fries with jalapeno bacon were delicious. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Brownwood.

The food is great! Our service was terrible. The guy actually complained that we got up and asked a different worker for a refill. He didn't bring us our drinks. We asked someone else to bring our drinks. I have never not left a tip, but I didn't this time. I would say I need a refill and he would go to the table next to us. He talked about getting a tip from the table next to us. This place has gotten really expensive. The food is delicious, but the limited options and the price make it not really worth it. I hate saying that because the owner is awesome and the sweetest. However, we will not be going back.

One burger, one order of fries and two ice cream sundaes… almost $30 dollars. Yeah this place sucks. I’d rather eat out of a dumpster than go back to this place.

Great concept with the train as a restaurant. We loved the ice cream shakes. Will definitely visit again when I'm in town.

Overall cute little place I love the idea of old fashioned dining in a little passenger train car. My favorite would have to be the fries or fried pickles

Customer service at it's best! The doors were opened and closed for us, greeted and departed with a genuine smile. We loved the narrow, retro train car (which is still sitting on train tracks). The food was great, I got a 1/2 lb burger with fries which was more than enough. Kids got a hotdog and tater tots and a 1/4 burger. We will definitely be back.

Cute diner. Service is very good. Food was great; we had a Reuben sandwich, french fries, and killer fried Pickles. Folks at next table ordered the Pecan Ice Cream Pie; looked amazing. We're definitely going back.

Best chicken salad sandwich I’ve ever had. The jalapeño cheese bread added just the right amount of mild but very tasty heat. The food came out quickly and was very fresh. Best of all was the outstanding and courteous service. Thanks for an excellent lunch!

Concept of the place is nice: little diner inside a train. Staff is very friendly. Unfortunately the quality of food just does not match the price. I ordered a fried chicken sandwhich with a side of fried pickles, and a chocolate shake. Chicken sandwhich came with two cold and dry chicken tenders. Not freshly made. The whole sandwhich was just room temperature. Fried pickles were nothing special. I was disappointed to look at the menu again to check the price of the sandwhich. Chocolate shake was pretty good, but served in a fairly small glass. Total for my half eaten lunch was almost $25. This is my 3rd time eating here, and probably my last, as I have never been impressed with the food. Mediocre fried foods at best.

Stopped in during a visit to Brownwood and we are glad we did. The chili cheese dog was delicious and the tots and fried pickles were the best I’ve had in a long time! Would highly recommend.
