Probably the best place to eat in Athens. The food is delicious and very consistent. You know what you are getting. However, I have one big problem that hopefully chef can fix. The salsa is always past serving date, it’s spoiled. Every. Single. Time.
I like this place it's got a great atmosphere the women are spot on when they take your order then they do come back to refill your cups the food is delicious don't ask for onion rings because they cook them with the fish oil
Have visited Athens cafe twice now for their breakfast buffet. The buffet offers something for everyone plus has an egg station where you can get an omelet or eggs to order with the buffet. Plenty of seating, very clean and friendly staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.
A horrible experience. I felt like an outcast because of my color. I will not be returning. I have met friendly people there in the past. One bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch.

90% tasted like it came out of the microwave. The other 10% was the napkin it was cooked on. Horrible weird tasting food and worse service.
Ate here this morning for breakfast. Everything was absolutely delicious.
Our Waitress was Mary. Not very friendly, and barely came to the table. Worst customer service EVER. She just costed yall some customers. I hardly find it funny when a Waitress finds it funny to "continue forgetting partial of the given order.
Service was good but super slow and we came in at 11am. We got a fajita quesadilla, chicken strips, enchilada w/a taco and fried okra. Food was way better than the Pitt grill! Nice atmosphere and very open!
Service was good. I was disturbed and discomforted by the lack of music and the liminal feel of the facility. Pretty sure I no-clipped into the back rooms. But rice was yummy.

First time coming here. The food was great! Biscuits were light, fluffy and moist. Eggs were cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and prompt. My husband had the breakfast buffet. Great choices and lots of food. We will definitely be back!
Food was ok but the gum under the table made me sick. They need to clean under tables
great service but worst chicken fried steak i've had in years.
