Some staff are a bit overly chatty with overly chatty guests which make for long waits. Coffee is amazing though and makes up for any lack. Homespun Latte is my go to.
It's a nice and comfortable place with lots of sunlight. Their food and drinks exceeded my expectations. They have really upped their game. Their pastries will satisfy the palate. Coffee is great too. Prices quite reasonable. Staff was lovely. Noticed they offer a private meeting room too. Parking convenient, suggest you back in if parking off the street or use the free and convenient parking garage if not. Treat yourself, slow down, take a mini respite, sit, nosh and enjoy a cup.
There are several pros and cons I have with this shop: First pro (maybe con for some people), they have obtained a specialty license which allows customers to keep their dogs inside. But if you don't like dogs, that can be a con. Pro - they have multiple drink options if you don't like coffee. They sell kombucha, tepache, lots of teas and amazing chai. Pro - there is so much seating! It's two stories and even has space for you to rent out a meeting room. Pro - they have lots of food options; but the tacos are a bit of a con for me. For the price I expected something a little bigger or at least heavier... They were tiny for being that expensive. Con - if you are wanting a straight shot of espresso, or Americano, this is not the best place for it. (Sorry...) I have tried shots many times from different baristas and several different regions, and they were almost always over/under-extracted and hard to finish. Being a roaster, and with the equipment they have, I was disappointed to be honest. If you get syrups or flavors, it's great! But by itself? Not so much. I am also not a fan of the drip because the last two times I must have gotten the bottom of the barrel as it had some sludge and coffee grounds in the bottom. TLDR: Not a great place for coffee afficionados, but if you like sweet sugary drinks, or teas, definitely check them out.
this place is so cute inside, open spaces and many spots to sit. Has a unique menu and I tried the mystic matcha and I loved the flavors of it omg! You can tell the quality of the product.
Amazing top-notch customer service which is hard to come by these days! Incredibly impressed! They are patient, kind, friendly & happy! The coffee tastes fabulous!! A++++ Will come here often!! ❤️
Had a hot masala chai and loved it. It was good for two servings of hot water. They even have two conference rooms you can rent out. Definitely will come back and try more of their offerings. There is a free parking garage nearby. I also had the egg and bacon taco with salsa verde which was delicious.
Super friendly, good coffee, great atmosphere for studying! Thanks Cara for the great latte recommendation :)
Amazing vibe - I love the plants, high ceilings, excellent coffee and vegan donut
*Update March 2023* Still awesome! The staff is really kind and wants to get to know you. The coffee is great. The inside looks awesome. Heck no sure what else to say! I look forward to going back soon.
This place has everything. It's huge, first of all, but has a small coffee shop feel. You never find yourself waiting for seating. The owner and managers are amazing people. The workers are professional, and best of all, their products taste and smell great. Drop the SB and head local!
My Frappuccino was perfect not too sweet. They even made a blueberry pastry that was really good. Crust was crispy, blueberries were yummy and sweet. Loved it! Thank you!
The coffee is below average. They don’t financially support their staff either. Beware.
I love the plants all around and the giant windows for great natural light. This is the perfect study spot or coffee date with a friend spot. Their drinks are all delicious and the baristas are very friendly. They also provide vegan and or gluten free pastry items.
Really want to love this place—concept, staff, environment… A+. But the coffee is just… abysmal. I’ve gone several times, hoping they were one off days. But every time it’s consistently bad :( It’s not coffee. It’s sweet, flavored milk.
i already love this coffee shop but cara truly makes the experience so much better. shes genuinely so warm and welcoming, always remembers my name and my order. she tells me shes proud of me when i venture out and try new drinks :') i bring my friends to study with me all the time and she gives them the same vip treatment and gives customized recommendations based on their moods and tastes. if you ever have a bad day, come get a drink from cara and i promise itll get better!
I went there really late and they about to closed, but they treated me really well. They stream the milk really good and they nailed the flat white.
I come here to work and conduct meetings for my animal rescue regularly, but today was different. Today at the shop I got a call that one of my fosters had only a couple more days to live. She loves people so I went home and brought her and all of her favorite things. We rented the conference room (even though they let us stay two hours later), and had the best party ever. They let us put up signs so people knew how special today was. Our foster got to enjoy all the people loving her, the baristas, and a pup cup. Everyone was so kind and lots of tears were shed today.
very cool place but the boy that took my order was rude as hell
The shop is nice, spacious and provides wifi. I can't speak to all of the products here, as one who only orders a mocha and only every once in a while. My mocha was unexceptional, the chocolatey nutty flavor i expected was more a sweet milk with coffee flavour. At $6 the price sits a little high which is fine if the quality was there but it seems to be lacking, if you want a place to hang out and chill this is a fine establishment. If you want coffee and you want it prepared well, you might as well just go to starbucks.
This place is really good! And quiet if your trying to study or just simply work. Coffee is really good too
