5 ⭐️ Murfreesboro Cafe! I have honestly not had better food than at @theblueporchcafe in the downtown square of Murfreesboro, TN! Homemade style food by the owner, Cynthia Richie, who has one of the kindest & most welcoming hearts you will EVER meet! I don’t think I’ve ever left a Google review before but it was a ome of the BEST food I’ve had in a long, long time! She offers a regular menu but she has a home cooked style food made in house at her little historic building across from the courthouse. One thing that stood out to me was while I was eating & working at one of her tables, a man stumbled into the cafe. I couldn’t tell if he was a regular or maybe someone who fell on hard times. Maybe a little of both. Ms. Cynthia brought him out a cold glass of water, warm soup, & a grilled cheese. Without knowing if she would get paid for the meal (she didn’t), she made sure he was served & taken care of. So while I was making yummy sound effects to every bite I took (I hope no one recorded me, haha), it was the HEART of The Blue Porch that stole the show! I 1000% recommend going to this sweet lil cafe across from the courthouse in Boro!
Visited today and had the most amazing experience! The ladies that work there are so special, so kind, so inviting, and made me feel like I was their family. Will definitely return! Merry Christmas!
Top notch. My wife and I just went here for lunch and we were very impressed. I will admit that my first thought was, “Oh, another sandwich shop.” However, there is something about Blue Porch that sets it apart from other sandwich shops. It is small and cozy, and the menu has the right balance of traditional offerings and unique creations. I had the Harry Stone and added the house made pimento cheese. What a combo! This sandwich was loaded up and treated with care - the ingredients weren’t just slapped together like you get at some places. If you want a quick, quality lunch that won’t break the bank, I vote you give them a try.

I stopped here for coffee. Absolutely the best cup you can buy in Murfreesboro! It had great taste, was very smooth, and woke me up instantly.
My wife and I went in for lunch today and had a fantastic experience. This place is amazing! The food was fantastic, service was truly genuine hospitality at its finest. If you haven’t gone to see them go asap.
Finally got to check this place out across the street from work during my lunch break, and fell in love. The shop is so cute and cozy, the ladies working were so sweet and helpful, and the food is delicious. I’m excited to head back and try more next time! I had the toasted pimento sandwich and decadent brownie (it was a hard choice between that and the moonshine cookies). It was harder going back to work after eating so well - definitely going to be another lunch spot ❤️

Everything is delicious. I’m fond of the pimento cheese with bacon. And the bacon is cooked perfect! They will even warm it for you! The meatloaf is also delicious. I just know everything is delicious here. And the owner is awesome.
Great service. Delicious & quick lunch with sandwiches and salads. Daily special available. Especially easy if you have business at the courthouse. They also rent lockers for $2 for bags that can’t go into courthouse. Highly recommend!
I just cannot get enough of the Bacon Gouda cheese spread. It's my go to for a quick breakfast, lunch or snack with crackers. And the owner is sweet as pie!

We're visiting from Louisville and are really happy that we stopped by! Charming interior and the food and personalities get even better! Loved The Harry Stone and my fiancee loved The Wapner!
Sandwich was delicious and the customer service in this place is amazing just as the food. Had the ham, Gouda and strawberry spicy jam and it was bomb!!! And the strawberry short cake WOW so delicious!!!
Delicious food, great price for quality and quantity you get. Small quaint place with unique flavors that are out of this world to die for. They are only open for lunch weekdays.
This is one of my main go-to places for lunch! They always have fresh selections of sandwiches, salads, stratas, sides, snacks and treats! Their chicken salad is SOOO good too ya'll, but today was cold and I wanted something warm, so I opted for their Bacon & Gouda Strata. Y'all, they also had a Spinach & Feta Strata as well, so I was a bit torn, but alas, Bacon won and after heating for 1 minute in the micro, this was heaven. I stop in weekly and love, love, love this place! You simply must too!
