Great place for breakfast! The employees we're all very kind. We had sausage egg and cheese croissants that were perfect. A Bavarian cinnamon roll oh my goodness! Also pet friendly so highly recommended.
I generally quite love this place, but you can’t be serving fruit that is 8 days old and that is now growing mold. (See pictures below) Todays date: May 21st, and the date made and marked on package shows May 13th. You can refrigerate fruit all you want, but once it’s past the shelf life, which is generally 4–5 days, the fruit still grows mold. It would be in their best interest to double check the quality, and dates of refrigerated foods.
I ate here two morning in a row, both morning I had the black elk coffee and blueberry oatmeal bowl. It’s a perfect walk from the Bavarian inn if you’re staying there, and they open early enough you don’t have to wait too long to grab breakfast before you go on with your day. The coffee was great I’d recommend it if you enjoy a dash of raspberry flavor syrup. The bowl was a very reasonable price, and a perfect amount for a nutritious breakfast before hiking. Not a lot of food but very dense. They tasted like fine ingredients. The service was great, the second morning my mom was with me and she ended up talking quite a bit with them. They were all so friendly, before we left mom wanted a photo with the two she talked with the most. Daniella, far right who came from Switzerland, sweet lady. Lovely, spacious breakfast spot with large portions and great food, and a short walk away from where we are staying, at the Bavarian Inn. Right away, we were welcomed by staff who let us know we could order from them at the counter or at the kiosk, which was how my family and I ordered. The kiosk made it a little easier to order since we were ordering the breakfast burritos, and it just made all the customizations a breeze to choose from. When our food came, we were pleasantly surprised at how big the burritos were, and they were packed full of all the fixings. Everything tasted so good and fresh. I also got a piece of the cremeschnitte, which was heavenly. Atmosphere was perfect; calm and relaxing for a casual breakfast. Everyone on staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were so helpful. Everything added together made this one of the best eateries I've had the privilege of patronizing while visiting the area.

If I could give this place all the stars in the sky, I would. I’ve worked a lot of places and no place compares to this gem. I made lifelong friends working here. My team members were the best team members I’ve ever worked with in my life. We made memories that will last a lifetime. Sherry and Marcel are absolutely the most genuine, authentic, understanding, professional, amazing people I’ve ever worked for. And everyone on staff feels the same. They care about us, and took care of us as though we were an extended family. I can’t say enough good things about them and I look forward to coming back next season for the whole season. I ran a coffee shop for 4 years in Luling Texas back in the early 2000’s and I thought I’d never find a place like that again or owners like I had at that time. This place is better. Oh, and the food. Ohhhhh, and the coffee. I’m going to have to just dream about it all til the season starts back up again. Oh, and the customers were our favorite part!!! We had some vacationers we will never forget who we loved so much and made us smile, laugh and feel good. And our locals who pretty much came in every day or at least every other day brought us gifts and sang praises about the food and the service. In turn, we gifted them all with the feel good experience. Did we make mistakes sometimes and maybe some customers were not so happy? Sure. But that’s food service for ya. It happens. No one is perfect 100% of the time and when you’re training seasonal people, things get missed or just don’t come out quite right. We did our best and we will continue to do our best next season and learn from mistakes made! All in all though, most of our customers had a good experience. Sometimes in the service industry it’s easy to beat yourself up for those times when things didn’t go so well. But then, you realize… you aren’t a robot… humans make mistakes… and all that matters is that you did your very best. And that’s all we strive for… is to provide the ve
This is the most AMAZING PLACE to get your morning started!! Food is always good and the coffee is The ABSOLUTE BEST!! Hanje and Amanda are truly theee best!! My friend and I always come here and we’ve never had a bad experience. 10/10 highly recommend.
Usually don’t leave bad reviews for restaurants but this one is quite justified: paid $30 for very bland dried out croissant breakfast sandwiches and coffee that tasted like warm milk with a bit of coffee, they were supposed to be white mochas. Was traveling through with the fam, thought we’d try it, had good ratings…it was terrible. Just want to warn others, don’t waste your money.
I came here in June earlier this year and just got some breakfast, it was delicious. My girlfriend at the time's mum and I also stopped and chatted to the chef of this place for a bit just talking about the place. He gave us his instagram handle but I forgot it, if you could reply with the Chef's name or @ that would be great!

Croissants are really good. Coffee is good. Pastries are beyond AMAZING! Don’t get the breakfast bowl/burrito but everything else was really good!!

Best homemade crossiant breakfast sandwiches I've ever had.
Located next to the Bavarian Inn, where we were staying, it was very convenient. The food and the atmosphere was a great start to any morning. Sergio was very friendly and helpful, the coffee was good and hot, and the food was delicious. The croissants were wonderful and my wife loved the breakfast bowls that were offered. This quirky business brought a smile to our faces, and we wished that it was open for lunch, too. Friendly employees, good food and drink, relaxing music, and an atmosphere that oozes calm. What more could you ask for?

Be sure to stop here while visiting the area. Awesome vibe, comfortable seating and excellent food. The kuchen is amazing!
A little pricey, but there was a lot of food and the iced coffee was good. Good variety of breakfast options, but we were missing pancakes or waffles on the menu. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and you could also order through a screen to speed up the process.
