The waitress isn’t very friendly, the barista was nice.
Our go to place for a reasonably priced great meal. The staff is super welcoming and fun too!
Nice stop for travelers with excellent breakfast and good coffee with truly hospital service.
Nice spot for a coffee. The coffee was good. The scone was really just a scone shaped muffin.
Cool gift store. The store could have been more stocked
I been anxious in waiting to try this place for breakfast. I finally was able to eat my breakfast here. I was told this is the best place for biscuits and gravy. Sadly the gravy tasted like it came from a can and it had a gritty texture to it. My scramble eggs had this gritty gravy all over it. I won’t be coming back here.
We were traveling, and stumbled across this cute restaurant. The food was so good, and the coffee was amazing. Thanks for the great service too!
Amazing service best food my husband and i have eaten in a long time
Came with a friend who had never been here before. Older, dark haired waitress could use a little training. Everything seemed rushed. As soon as she handed us the menus she asked us if we knew what we wanted. Then started slamming the chairs around on the tables beside us as she was starting to clean. Couldn’t get a refill on coffee because she was outside the back door talking to someone. Also, kept several young people waiting at the front counter who wanted to pay for wine. One woman walked back to get her.
Delicious chai and iced tea. The lady at the counter was super awesome and made me a custom iced tea with lemonade - 5 stars.
Yummy cinnamon rolls!!! Get in my belly!! Definitely recommend!!
The smell of coffee tells you this place is a coffee shop, but the food says so much more. The avocado toast was very tasty, and the biscuits and gravy was filling with our coffee. Once we move to Custer, Calamity Jane's will probably be our normal coffee place.
This place is good as a coffee shop but not a place for food
Nice joint. Food I saw looked good, have to try some next time....
Love love LOVE this place!! The coffee is very well made and delicious, and so is the food. I have tried several of the menu items now and I haven’t had a single bad thing here. That’s including breakfast AND lunch/dinner. If you’re wondering about the pork fritter sandwich- it’s to die for. The staff is super friendly and quick. Has great hours and is one of the few restaurants in Custer without weird winter hours. (Winter hours are different but they’re normal). 10/10 would recommend.
My brother and I visited your coffee shop two or three times for lunch and once for breakfast back in August. I had to come back a second time for your chicken strips with French fries for lunch that was out of this world. I will be sure to visit again next August when I return to go camping and fishing at Deerfield with family. Food and service was excellent.
Best coffee in the Black Hills! Very kind people helping you here, and our breakfast was delicious. Of particular note, the sausage patty served with the biscuit and gravy was unusually good, perfectly seasoned... Not sure if it's an in-house recipe or not but I've never had a sausage patty that compares. Definitely will be back!
A beautiful little restaurant / gift shop with wonderful food, and amazing workers. I came in 5 minutes before closing and they still served me, The workers did not need to do that, but they went out of their way, going so far as to open up 1/2 the grill for me. Food came out fast and tasty. I could not be happier.
came in as they were shutting down, still accommodated us, and gave us good food, even had vegan options. great stop!
Being that the restaurant was to close at 3:00 and my self along with my G.F. enterd the establishment at 2:40 I was quickly informed that the grill was to close in 10 minutes so I needed to order now even though I had no time to visit the menu. Also the slogan " I don't care and am not about to was printed on the back of her shirt, as I can testify she lives buy that creed.
