Pretty good. Got a lot of different options and it smells awesome in the shop. Not too loud, not awkwardly quiet, and the staff are all great. I usually go there to buy the coffee ground bags to take home, but once in a while I'll get something to have there. I also bought the french press travel cup and it's really really nice. Great place, great coffee. Made me ditch folgers lol
Everything is Great Here!! Even Bought Coffee Beans From Jacob’s Brewhouse in Deadwood, SD. They’re good too! Highly recommend if in Brookings!!
Sells freshly roasted beans for home grinding on my V60 at good prices and their decaf beans have good flavor. Nice to have a place in town for fresh beans. Also a variety of other good menu items.

Good roasts, nice atmosphere. They have a great attention to detail that I notice and appreciate. Happy to see this business thriving in its new location, as it's quietly busy anytime I pop inside.

Kool Beans is easily my favorite coffee shop in Brookings. Their new building is the perfect atmosphere, and my drinks are always delicious—but it’s their focus on sustainability that keeps me coming back!! Awesome to see.
Kool Beans is amazing! Their new location is so inviting and put together well, their oat milk latte's are to die for, and they have friendly staff. Great place to meet friends or work. Highly recommend :)
