Our food was good and the service was excellent! The staff routinely came by to check on us and remove our plates after we were done eating. You definitely have to get there early. We went at 10:30 am on Sunday. This is a local spot away from the main island drag (still on Hilton Head Island), but was a great find. This place also sits right next to Low Country Water Sports so it has dolphin and kayaking tours, jet skis, and more.
My family and I had a great experience here! From the moment we walked in, the servers greeted us warmly and even went the extra mile to offer treats and a water bowl for our dog. The food was perfect and the inviting atmosphere added to the overall charm of the place. Additionally, we appreciated the convenience of being able to pay with our Discover card. Highly recommend this spot!
Enjoy the food every time we go, prices are reasonable. We always look forward to going back.
It's a nice breakfast/brunch place. They have lot of variety of food. It is delicious, service is awesome as well. Definitely recommend it!
Great service. Delicious food and a welcoming spot to enjoy breakfast on the porch with friends and your dog
There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. Breakfast was amazing. Service even better. If you are in Hilton Head you need to go here. Eggs Benedict amazing. Steak and eggs amazing. Their gravy is so ridiculous. Just go there. Point. Blank. Period.
Solid 4.7 stars or better. It has been a long time since we have been in a restaurant where the staff actually knows how to take care of customers. THANKS!. Service was the best. Food was brought out fairly quickly. We had the Today's special stuffed blueberry and cream cheese French toast and biscuit and sausage.
We came here for breakfast while vacationing on the island. The staff were fantastic so we were hoping the food would stack up. It was nothing memorable. My wife and I ordered different versions of Eggs Benedict - I got the fried chicken one. It was overcooked - breading was very hard and crunchy (not crispy) and chicken was dry. Poached eggs were bland too. I’m not sure what the base was but it didn’t seem like a toasted English muffin. The fruit was good. Honestly, the lady outside selling pastries had better food, as we devoured her caramel pecan coffee Bundt cake while waiting for our table.
Super friendly service and delicious food! Everyone on staff made sure everything was perfect for us! Beautiful place for brunch!
Food was good. Service/attitude from staff was fantastic. Can't call out a single server, they worked as a team to make sure all of our needs were met. Sunrise Benedict was good, and the specialty mimosas we approapriately strong :)
dry steak with no seasoning, underwhelming mimosa. too expensive for what was presented. not sure why this placed is rated so high, completely overrated.
Man, never a bad breakfast here. Had friends in from out of town, ate at the bar. Quick service, excellent breakfast as always (minus the shrieking little Mexican woman at the bar, but she kept things running like a well piled machine).
Fantastic, tucked away place for breakfast. We had a low carb scram and a strata. Both delicious. The scram was like a frittata with nice amount of veggies. The side of choice was bacon. The strata was a casserole dish served very hot with sausage bits. It was a lot to eat. We skipped lunch. Coffee was good as well as prompt efficient service. We sat on the porch on a lovely morning. Parking is free and shouldn’t be an issue.
Food was excellent! Very dog friendly. Staff gave our dogs treats and lots of pets.
Been coming to HHI for Decades. This IS the best place for Breakfast!
Always a great spot but have to be patient, always busy . Can't be in a rush
I went on Easter and it was a blast! I got to collect eggs and got to get the candy inside of it. The food was yummy and the server Maria was great. Will be coming here again. Yay!!!!!
Sunrise Cafe is always a good spot for breakfast or brunch. Great service and good food. Today I had the quiche of the day and fruit, and my friend had the stuffed French toast. This is a favorite restaurant for locals and visitors to the island. Very busy, but the wait is not very long!
Lunch on the porch. I got the vegetable sandwich with pea salad, the sandwich was very good, the pea salad was bland. Friend got the fried fish and shrimp, they were lightly breaded and came with fries, she enjoyed them. First time here and they we’re remolding another restaurant under the same roof, so there were lots of building supplies laying around. I hope they remodel the bathrooms, they were very dirty and old.
Been there many times. Always a great breakfast.
