Love that it’s family ran, but way too expensive for gelato. Two of us was about $30. I had the sorbet and it was average. Hope this was just an off night
Good Gelato, but very overpriced and no prices were posted. 2 cups were over 30 bucks!
Gelato was good, but $22 for a single dip cone and bowl is crazy. Go to Publix and get some Blue Bell and all the fixings to last you days. Quite the rip.
This place puts the gelato we had in Italy to shame! Absolutely the best gelato we've ever had. Love the different flavors of cones. Tried the biscotto flavor with chocolate cone and it hit all the right spots. This is going to be our new go-to place. Do yourself a favor and visit. Get 2 or 3 scoops!

We found Nonna Marie’s while looking for an ice cream shop that was open after 8:30 pm. We all had various flavors of the gelato and some of it in waffle bowls. It was delicious. We also took some biscotti with us that we enjoyed back in our condo with our coffee the next morning. Nonna was working the register was working the register, her daughter was serving the gelato and one of their dogs, Buttercup, was curled up in her bed close by. We are definitely glad we found Nonna Marie’s and will be going back every time we visit Hilton Head Island. Thanks Nonna!
What an unexpected delight. The owners make all their own gelato and pastries. Despite being busy, we were greeted warmly, encouraged to take samples, and offered ideas based on what we offered up as our usual taste. The Magical Unicorn was probably the best gelato I’ve ever had. A+ experience!
My wife & I stopped in at night. The mother/daughter team running the shop could not have been friendlier. They let us sample some flavors and recommended some treats. We even met their dog. Got lots of goodies to go and the gelato was hands down, the best I've ever had! A+ experience!!

Best ice cream on the island after having tasted all the other ones, real Italian flavor, amazing service from an amazing family! Don't waste your time standing in line somewhere else :-)

My wife and I just went in after dinner on our date night and we were blown away! We just got home from Italy on our honeymoon and this gelato was just as good and the design made us feel like we were still over there. The staff was excellent, the girl working the counter was friendly, smiled and was clearly hustling with a big line. The owner came out and spoke with us for a while and gave us great suggestions. We had the mint chip and the fig gelato. Honestly was blown away with everything. Can’t say anything better than we will definitely be back with friends!! Thanks so much guys! Pete and Megan
Nonna Marie’s is a must-stop if you are in the area! The selection of gelato are made of all natural ingredients and full of flavors that cover your entire palette. The staff are so pleasant and they take their time with each and every customer to make sure they get the best out of what they have to offer. Espresso and other caffeinated beverages are available to contribute to their vast menu selection, and Italian pastries and sweets are also offered! And if you are up for it, they even offer alcoholic gelatos that rotate throughout the week such as Kahlúa coffee or rum raisin. I enjoyed the flavored waffle cones that come in seven colorful options. Thank you for everything, Nonna Marie’s! We love you!

Great little shop! Came in for coffee and walked out with Gelato! I highly recommend the Pear with Fig, Mystical Unicorn is interesting, you just can't put your finger on the flavor. Tiramisu is awesome too! And you have to meet Chai, the pooch.
