Food was good and service was great! Really good coffees too.
Tasty food, great pastries! Disappointed that we couldn’t omit a specific items from the hash - tasty anyway! Great kombucha options!
This place does not disappoint! Get the breakfast sandwich with a side of avocado for a taste of the New South in your mouth. It is worth the mess and dozen of napkins you'll need. The special lattes are always a delight, too.
I visited in 2021 due to close proximity to lodging while visiting from out of town. Having run similar establishments in the past, the menu and aesthetic is appealing to me. First experience was great, food was excellent. This last visit in 2022, completely opposite experience. The breakfast sandwich was absolutely horrible. The biscuit was dry and crumbly, sausage was hard as rubber and seemed like it had been hot held for hours. The cracked egg was mostly cold, and the hot pepper jam was thin and watery. If I had eaten in house I would have returned my food, but alas the place was packed so we opted for takeout. In a city with so many options, I don't see a need to return.
The whipped feta toast was 🔥. So good! Service was meh but I only interacted with one very bored looking girl. Maybe other employees are more psyched to be there? 🤷♀️
The food was great and the service was excellent. I would definitely try again. We had the breakfast burrito, spring vegetable hash, bacon & toast.
I was so looking forward to try their coffee. When I went there, there are so many people there, and the environment was so messy. We got in the lines and waited for around 15 minutes. When it was our turn, the front desk just left and did other things. We got confused and kept waiting. Then she came back with a bad attitude. After we paid, we looked at her and she just looked at somewhere. I asked her were we all set, but she did not replied back. Then me and my friend walked away. She became nice again and treat another customer. The customer asked her were we all set? She said to him yes, they already finished. Why she told the customer instead of tell ing us? I don’t get it. I won’t come back anymore! AN ONLY BAD EXPERIENCE IN CHARLESTON!!
Wonderful brunch experience! The energy of this place is very nice. The staff, and food were impeccable. There is a good amount of food menu items including vegan and vegetarian options. The quality of the food was also really good. It can get pretty busy. I went on a Thursday morning and there was about a 15 min wait around 10am.
Everything was amazing! We loved it so much that we came 2 days in a row. On Saturday, I ordered the winter hash, the strawberry matcha doughnut and a latte. My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich and the chocolate croissant. On Sunday, I ordered the breakfast burrito and the strawberry muffin and my husband ordered the breakfast sandwich again because he said it was that good! There's something for everyone on the menu. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. You won't be disappointed here.
Super cute place. However, that was about it! We went on 03.10 the young lady at the order counter was rude at best. We had to repeat the order again and again….. I ordered my latte HOT w/o any rose petals. It came Luke warm WITH rose petals! The biscuit was also cold and according to her they have no jam so it came bare. Starbucks gives better service and has hot drinks & food….
I just went for coffee and it was delicious. The place was super busy and the line was almost out the door. It’s a quaint place to grab something and go.
My husband and I had a fantastic breakfast here while visiting Charleston. I loved my breakfast burrito and he enjoyed his avocado toast. The coffee is very good too!
Bacon egg and cheese sandwich! onion jam on side never disappoints. One of the best if not the best spots for a breakfast sandwich in Charleston. Service is super friendly.
Quick. Easy. Delicious. I just stopped in for breakfast and man was that sandwich good. The pimento cheese and ham really separated it from other breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. The runny egg was perfect, bacon thick and meaty, and everything just worked. I did get the feeling that the bun came from a grocery store, but that’s perfectly fine. Would stop by again.
The breakfast burrito, black coffee, and latte…amazing!!!
It was a busy morning when we went for breakfast and coffees but they were well staffed and worked very efficiently. Our food was amazing! My partner got the breakfast sandwich and said it was the best breakfast sandwich he had ever had. I got the breakfast burrito made GF and loved it! I also got the date latte and it was a bit too sweet (after being asked for less sweetness). Would definitely return if we lived closer
Probably one of the best breakfasts I've had. The food was absolutely divine (I got the breakfast sandwich). I'm going to try and recreate it when I get home but I can't imagine it'll turn out as well as the original. The coffee was some of the best I've had even in coffee shops. It was rich with strong fruity notes of berries (or dates according to my fiancé), not to mention the mugs are also some of my favorites I've seen. Really one of the best breakfast places I've ever been to.
Great food and drinks, especially the baked goods and cinnamon roll smoothie. The only place I visited twice in Charleston!
The Daily sets The Standard for a perfect breakfast! Exceptional bread is the foundation with well prepared artisanal coffees. Go early to enjoy the experience.
Loved the breakfast burrito here! Awesome coffee and a quick order and sit down place. Friendly staff!
