It’s all about cats here! Adoptions, petting cats, sipping coffee or wine, and seeing everyone there caring for and loving the furry felines. Wonderful

We have been to a few of these around the country. Great idea and amazing effort to get more cats populated with people and out of the cage of a shelter. They have a fun area to experience the cats with offerings for beverages and light snacks. The coffee and teas are good and sitting area open and well lit. They have a high adoption rate of over 1 adoption per day. Loved seeing 2 adoptions today when we visited. Great effort to the team and such a worthwhile cause.

Such an amazing place to hangout have a drink and play with some kitties :) absolutely amazing how they work with local shelter to help cats get adopted. They are so well taken care of and very happy! Also the prices on drinks/coffees/merch is very well priced

I am visiting Charleston for the first time this week and had a great time at the cat cafe. The employees were super friendly and the cats were so cute. There was plenty of room for the cats to sleep and play. The best part about this cafe is that they’ve participated in over 2,000 adoptions since 2016. I love what they are doing for these little kitties.

Don't waste your time. We called ahead & on a Tuesday (not busy). They knew we took a shuttle yet they turned us away knowing that and were not busy! Never going back.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Pounce Cat Café! We chose the date night option when reserving a time slot which came with a bottle of wine and a dessert. Both were delicious and made the experience all the more special. We were able to hang out with several friendly cats that let us pet them and snuggle them. Some were sleeping which we expected but we definitely feel like it was worth it! The staff members were kind and knowledgeable of the kitties. The café does a great job of getting them adopted out which I always appreciate. Make reservations ahead of time as they seem very popular and fill up quickly. Totally a highlight of our visit to Charleston.

My friend and I were instantly greeted by cats running to the door. We both paid for an hour and got a free drink of choice. Even if you’re not adopting, this is just a great therapeutic experience. The employees were so nice and were always more than happy to answer any questions or to just strike a conversation. I definitely recommend!

Pounce is so wonderful! Very fair prices and always a fun time to play with the kitties while knowing you're supporting a good cause! Would definitely recommend as a fun date spot or thing to do! :)

The staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful, and ironically, seemed to not be overly concerned about the animals. There are better places with incredible staff (full of compassion for both adults and animals) in NC cafes. Would not recommend visiting here.

My girlfriend is a cat lover beyond imagine. I/we were visiting Charleston and, as a last request, on our last day all she wanted was to go to pounce to visit the "kitties". She spoke so much about this would nake our trip complete. We spent about an hour waiting f. or transit (public transportation) and getting delayed with traffic. By the the time we got there my bladder was about to explode ( you know what I'm talking about). As we entered the staff came forward and informed us that they were booked (reservations recommended but not required) only to be told they were booked for the next couple hurs. Denied, but optimistic, I politey requested to use the restroom. To my surprise the host told me no. I politey told the host that I needed to go really bad and again politey requested to use the restroom. The hostess then responded "they have one next door." This was perhaps the rudest and most inconsiderate interaction I've had with a human in a very long time and it made me feel as if they are exploiting the cats for profit with disregard for human life. Hope any guests, who dare visit , have a better experience.

Absolutely amazing cat Cafe. The special events they have are extra fun. And for such a great cause! Definitely check this place out if you are looking for a new cat in your life or you are just looking for a fun visit with some kittens. We've been dozens of times and it's a completely different experience every time thanks to the constant influx of new Kitties. 5 stars, highly recommend!

Pricey, but that's because funds go to help shelter kitties. Very nice place to visit. A dozen kitties in a room for you to play with, give affection to. Almost all were friendly and all up for adoption if you find one you love.

It's a great way to get to play with cats and potentially adopt one. It's a neat business model, cafe in the back and cats to play with up front.

This place is awesome and doing a great thing in helping humane society cats learn to socialize with other cats and people. We got one of our cats from Pounce and he is super friendly and not afraid of new people, other cats, or smaller dogs. 10/10 would recommend Pounce!
