Enroute to my destination in Maryland, I stopped to visit the historic homes on 4th street. Much to my delight, I noticed this lovely Cafe and Bakery. I had to stop in! Set up in a old century home, complete with many original charms such as fireplaces, woodwork, light switches and bells. I only ordered a iced latte, but spoke at length to the kind owners who explained the history of the house. There is ample room inside, and a shady porch also, where you can sit and enjoy the garden views. A "MUST STOP HERE" on my journey now. Skip Starbucks! You'll be glad you did!
The gentleman working there is as nice as can be. We’ve only been there twice but the first was enough to bring us back another time. The environment is calm, even when they have multiple orders to make. It’s definitely worth the go. Maybe even ask for a surprise drink, so they can pick out what they think is best for you to try, it never fails.
Always have a great experience here!
Great place for rich, strong and flavorful coffee in a very beautiful historic home. We met the owners. The husband is the main barista and we spoke to the wife who was a very kind and she told us the history of the home and her dream come true of owning a coffee shop in her home. The coffee was so good we got a pound of coffee beans. Great atmosphere with outdoor seating on the porch. The pastries looked delicious as well.
Great spot to enjoy a beverage and casual conversation.
The Rachel is simply amazing. The scones are so good!
One of very few places to get Café Cubano!!
Great atmosphere, beats busier places by a mile! Baked goods are top notch!
Great coffee shop, Amazing atmosphere, and wonderful coffee.. A must try..
The atmosphere is maybe one of the best feature of this place, only second to the quality of the coffee. The cappuccino is to the level of those made in Italy, truly an excellent craft!
Best coffee shop in town! Amazing quiche , scones and other bakery items ! Ron and June always go above and beyond !
These people were awful during the pandemic. Unethical business practices, political messaging, bad customer service toward people practicing CDC guidelines, etc. etc. Also, there are two coffee local shops that are 1000% better and well respected in the community: Alabaster (downtown) & Buzzsaw (in the Pajama Factory). Advice: Go here if you are Covid positive.
Who else is here because of Lumber Capital Log Yard? This spot is on my bucket list, if I end up in the area anytime.
Such an amazing find! We got stranded in Williamsport due to bad weather, and found this little gem. Easily one of my favorite coffee shops I've been to on any of the 6 continents that I frequently travel. You will not regret a visit to the place! I only wish I had something like this local to where I live. Also, their Christmas scones are the best scones I've ever had! Came back a second day to buy all of the remaining pieces they had baked that day for our trip home.
Lovely shop with a very good pour over. I'm passing through and was happy to find a local shop in which to sit and sip good coffee. I didn't expect it to be this beautiful, like an old inn. Highly recommend.
Today was the first time ever been to your business. I really enjoyed the my experience. My hazelnut lattie was good. The atmosphere was great it was warm and cute. I loved the original architecture. The owner was very sweet.
Great coffee and excellent service in an impeccably restored Victorian. Get the quiche.
Lost two local customers. We have come to this coffee shop several times and enjoyed the coffee and ambiance. Male barista/owner always been kind. Today, the women owner/baker who took our order heard us incorrectly and mistakenly chose "to-go" instead of "for here." We sat at one of the tables as usual, especially as she said, "you can go take a seat and we will bring that out for you." The barista brought us our coffees and was pleasant. We were confused why they were in to-go cups instead of house cups, but this was no issue to us. We awaited our quiche to be served. The woman comes to give us our food and voices that it was entered as to-go and so the food and drinks were in containers because of this. We say, "no problem," as we were fine with the containers and were understanding of a simple mistake. That is until the woman says, "actually, it is a problem because every to-go cup and container costs money. If you are ordering for here you need to tell us." We were baffled. I voiced that my fiancé said it was for here when we ordered. She pointed at the receipt and said, "it says to-go right here." This is very poor customer service and shows an inability to recognize your own mistake and treat the customer with respect. We paid nearly $20 to be "scolded." I use this word because her last response was, "I don't want to scold you but you need to tell us that it is not to-go." Our whole perception of this business has changed. We left and we are likely to not come back. We live locally and we even spoke to her about this while ordering. We will go to the other lovely coffee shops Williamsport has to offer where we won't be berated.
Coffee is fresh pastries are delightful and customer service is outstanding.
Stopped by while on the road and instantly fell in love with this place. I wish I lived closer to this cafe!
