Now I wish I had taken pictures when I was there this past weekend after seeing all the other ones. Very cool place. Lots of interesting things. We didn't buy anything but not because there wasn't a lot of cool things. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area again. I'm curious but didnt ask while there, is the store possibly a bit haunted due to some of the things kept there? Felt a bit strange while walking around up front. Have had the same feeling in other places that have spirits. Just curious. Again, great place and the staff was very friendly.

Pretty interesting space but 2 coffees and a cookie shouldn’t have broke $20! Shame because the staff was so friendly despite the spooky vibes which were perfect.

Omg the best! The taxidermy, the bugs, the gifts are all amazing! Wish I lived closer. Luckily they have an online store and ship!

a hidden gem. a very unique place for the area. they have a cool selection of oddities, fashion, crystals and some nice vintage stuff, too. and the coffee bar is second to none. i love the flair and style of the baristas. fun place to bring a friend or just grab a hot cocoa when you are looking to treat yourself. Featured on the Haunt Hunters App, this place is Both Strange and Unusual. This is what makes it a must stop if you are in the area..Something for everyone to talk about. Can't wait to go back.

The name almost says it all. It leaves out the excellent coffee.

VERY cool establishment, especially if you're strange and unusual ;) I'm just upset it took me 6 years to find my way in there. And in case you're wondering, redheads do not get a discount, I asked lol

We’ve visited many oddity shops in our travels and were excited to see what was in store. Upon entering, the staff scattered like roaches, didn’t greet us and told us to move our truck because we parked “wrong.” They said we were blocking the parking lot and other customers couldn’t park- we were alone in there the entire time. We parked in the lines, but they’re two sets of lines -so 2 different ways to park. It was basically the only interaction the staff had with us until we asked to for help with a shirt. We walked over the café area and I saw the sign about “no public restrooms.” I told the girl working that we really wanted to order drinks and some baked goods but I needed to use the restroom and wash up. I was not allowed to use the bathroom. Ridiculous. If you’re offering food and beverage people should be allowed to at least wash their hands. I ended up only spending about $60 instead of purchasing additional items because I was so put off and wanted to leave. Shame the inside is very interesting but the staff is preventing the success of this establishment. They won’t last much longer -a shame

The Strange and Unusual was an interesting place to visit. Lots of dead things. It wasn't quite as big or extravagant as I was expecting but still worth the trip.

Super friendly staff! I love the Halloween pop ups in the back of the store as well. It’s always fun to pop in & browse.

I love this little wonder in my own backyard. This is the place to stop for anything. I’ve purchased things for myself, but I always know I can find gifts for family and friends (including the ones who might not think they’d find anything here) because of the variety of trinkets and oddities. The staff is always super friendly, and the coffee is to die for (pun intended). So grateful to have this shop in the area!
