I was dining with my daughters and was served oven fried potatoes they were burnt. I thought maybe they looked bad but would taste ok but they tasted burnt. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to embarrass my daughters. But I was very disappointed at the food and service.

We drove about 1.5 hours to get here, we had something to do in the town and found this little gem during our very short trip. Great atmosphere, great service, great food, great prices. Overall awesome experience and would recommend 100%.

Confused on how she keeps the door open. Went for lunch at 1230 was told it was breakfast only, asked why, was told she didn't want to make lunch that day. Please go ANYWHERE ELSE.

You won't leave hungry! An order of hashbrowns fills the plate, and they are cut in house. I got the corned beef hash (also made in house) and cheese omelet. Huge and delicious. Wife got the eggs Benedict, hollandaise was great and eggs were done perfect. We will be back for sure

First time in the Poconos. Stayed in Honesdale and found this gem of a breakfast & lunch cafe. Excellent food with great service at very reasonable prices. Went twice while in town.

Delicious homemade soups. So many options (sweet and savory) for breakfast and lunch, with very generous portions. Small town casual diner atmosphere with great tasting food and excellent, friendly service!!

PSA: Boneless wings are just cut up chicken tender with hot sauce drenched on it ( for 10$) advertised differently on their menu, when an original Plate of chicken tenders is 5-7$, it was disappointing we ordered mozzarella sticks as well and they came out still frozen on the inside and we asked to just take it off and then the BONELESS WINGS as well since it was not disclosed that they were CUT UP CHICKEN TENDERS. The owner refused to take it off and tried to shoo us away and threatened to call the cops on us if we didn’t pay the wings. I said go head I want them to come because it is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! The menu said boneless wings for 10.00 and all they did was cut up chicken tenders (chicken tenders that were 5-7$ on the menu) and Drench it in hot sauce. A nice lady who worked there finally came out and took it off and we paid right away. Very much appreciate her for UNDERSTANDING THE SITUATION. Owner likes to state I was rude, when I never was rude to anybody, our party was split into two tables divided by another table so I can’t speak for the other side but I know my table was NOT rude, I spoke to the waiter nicely, and she started to give me attitude towards the end because of the wings. It was not until the end when I refused to pay for cut up chicken tenders that we DID NOT touch. Owner refused to talk to us and told us we should find elsewhere to go so I was looking for an ATM so that I could pull money to pay FOR WHAT WE ATE! The mozzarella sticks were still frozen and the wings were not even wings, then the girl came out took it off and I paid with the card right away. I’m sorry but you cannot Rob people of money with false advertisement. So beware !

It is a cute diner. Large portions. Interestingly the sandwiches were not deli sliced lunch meat. At least the turkey was chunks of turkey. The kids enjoyed it

Haven't been here in a while because I was a little disappointed in the breakfast value last time. But things have changed. You now get a pile 'o potatoes and twice as much bacon as the other three diners in the area. Great coffee and quick service too. Coming back soon.
