Awesome trendy feeling little coffee shop. The barista was super friendly courteous and accommodating and got our drinks quickly. I was in the area visiting the Orthodox Monastery St Tikhon. I came in twice, once on Saturday and then Sunday afternoon before my wife’s choir concert nearby at Saint John’s. Whitney took care of us Sunday and is a wonderful young lady. Coffee was excellent too and the cold brew has a really good chocolate feel to it. The chocolate chip cookie was great and my kids said the hot chocolates were excellent.
Best local coffee shop around
Ok for a local spot, but not something I would go out of my way for. View = 5 stars due to the waterfall outback Coffee = 2 stars - got a plain latte, tasted burnt so that was a waste of minimum $5. 1 bonus star for the iced coffee having "coffee ice cubes" though. Space = seems cool enough for honesdale PA
Great spot for quality coffee and baked goods with a relaxing atmosphere
Best coffee in Honesdale
This coffee shop is better than Starbucks and Dunkin. The coffee is made fresh and they also have whole beans you can buy by the bag. The whole bean coffee is delicious, I've used it for French press and the flavor is really next level.
Their blondie is a must try.
Consistently great coffee with a surprising bonus: a gorgeous view of waterfalls! Plenty of outdoor seating to take in the scenery and enjoy, in the words of Agent Dale Cooper, “a damn fine cup of coffee.”
Major coffee grains in my coffee. Staff was awesome but after talking to them.. this place is a huge turn off.. the owner treats them like quote on quote.. coffee grains.. I was flabbergasted by this response.. laughed.. yes.. but everyone employed here stated they hate it. I'm questioning this establishment. What's actually going on?. Management and owners? You need to address the misery and quality. I'll try again in a few months.. place was great a year ago.
This place is simply bad. The owner, Travis Rivera, is extremely disrespectful and in no way professional. The man only cares about himself and the money. If you are considering working here, take advice from the many staff that have quit and moved elsewhere, or the many other businesses in the area and boycott this abomination of a coffee shop.
This place is incredibly unprofessional. Travis Rivera is a terrible boss who mistreats his employees. I’ve never heard of an employer who is so hated by his employees. He is a condescending, entitled, man with no respect for other people. Do not give this man your business.
Bad experience here with arrogant owners and overpriced yet lackluster products and service. They got my longer review removed because they don't like the truth. There are better places in town for better coffee and baked goods, and my advice is drive right by this place that turns out would spend more time getting bad reviews removed than just spending the time making better products and caring better for customers.
My family has lived in this area for a long time. I always like to come and visit in the summer there is so much to see and do. Other than Dunkin there were few options for coffee and along comes this place. It’s a cool location with a water fall in the parking lot. The coffee is top notch and I’d rather support local business as I want to see this area continue to grow. I love a good lavender latte if you haven’t tried it I suggest you do.
I love my Black & Brass coffee. Be sure to ask for extra syrup with flavored drinks though.
Excellent coffee. Loved the waterfall in the back.
First time there. Good cup of coffee. Nice looking shop.
I wanted to love this place. My wife and I drove an hour away to get freshly roasted coffee and were pleasantly surprised when we saw they had hand-crafted espresso drinks. There were two major problems: The coffee is NOT freshly roasted. The bags available on the shelf are also not marked as being pre-ground or not, nor are they dated for freshness. Combine this with the fact that they are placed in direct sunlight without sunshades and you get... Stale coffee. I purchased quite a bit to my dismay upon my arrival home. Second, shots are not pulled correctly here. There was clear channeling happening in the basket, as the espresso left the machine looking closer to cream/water. Also, why do they manually stop shots at 19 seconds? Proper shot extraction time is 28-32 seconds. What resulted for my wife and I was "warm milk" drinks, not espresso beverages (don't get me started on their steaming "technique"). Get a mature staff with certified baristas on hand, not ex-starbucks kids, and this could have been an okay experience. Oh, and waterfall go "wsssshhhhhhh" (Keeping in line with the other reviews)
Good coffee and great service! Plus the awesome backdrop of a waterfall if you're sitting outside.
Great coffee and atmosphere... Prices a little high.
Best coffee i ever had! Ghost roast is amazing!
