Wonderful Italian restaurant. We often get the Charcuterie Board and hoagies. Service is always helpful and happy to help. Highly recommend 👌

Our paninis were wonderful! My Italian rosemary ham with house made honey mustard had the best tasting tomato slices for this time of year. My husband had his chicken pesto with gluten free bread which is not always a ready choice. The house made pesto and fresh mozzarella were delicious adds to the generous chicken base. Included with the paninis were the perfect fresh arugula side salads in little lidded white paper cups. We love your signature black paper boxes - a much appreciated touch! For dessert, we had gluten free olive oil orange cake and Limoncello custard. Again, absolutely delicious and not typically available. A perfect quick takeout, ordered online and enjoyed overlooking downtown! SO inexpensive for the quality. I have to mention all the fresh and packaged items available in their Italian Market - so diverse and authentic. I love that you can get their famous subs right beside Italian pastries and fancy coffees. Bonfatto's is worth the short drive to historic Bellefonte!
I love getting a cafe fredo or other espresso drink to go and walking in the park, consitlstantly good coffee, generally quick service even when there is a wait on the weekends.The olive oil cake is tasty too ;)
It is a great restaurant in the heart of Bellefonte. We have found our coffee spot, yes - it's that amazing! and tiramisu is a must-have! We'll be back to try the pasta, paninis, and subs!
My favorite cafe shop in the Bellefonte/State College area! Their coffee and coffee flavors are absolutely delicious! I love to try their specials, but their classic flavors never disappoint either. They also have great cafe food, I love their chicken pesto panini, and their desserts are also so good! I’ve been here multiple times, a few times with a larger party. Although seating is limited, we were able to find seats. Also when it’s nice you can always go and sit in the park nearby and enjoy your food/drinks. Overall, I highly recommend stopping on by here!
Love having Bonfatto's in Bellefonte! The food is great and the staff are even better!
Terribly long wait time for food. I’m here now, coming up on 30 min waiting for a breakfast sandwich. Had enough time to think about it and leave a review. If the sandwich is good then maybe I’ll bump up the stars a bit. Also, I witnessed 2 people come in, as the employee at the cash register was folding tissue paper, and then leave because no one helped them. I had to wait a good bit before someone helped me as well
Whether curbside or inside, Bonfatto’s is our favorite weekend coffee spot with our little. There’s something for everyone and it’s always consistent and delicious!

Bonfatto's personnel are always friendly, courteous, and make you feel like you're a family friend. The food is delicious and the coffee is the best in the county. We love Bonfatto's and that's why we've made it our "go to" place for coffee and lunch.

Bonfatto's is one of my favorite spots in Bellefonte! The food is high quality. You can tell that they use fresh, clean ingredients. Workers are always very helpful when I have diet related questions. The chicken pesto panini is a go-to for me. I also love their refreshers and smoothies! Food usually comes out promptly and well cooked. The space is small, but has a clean and open aesthetic that elevates the experience. There is usually local art on the walls. There is complimentary self-serve water that is easy to access. I also love the Italian market aspect of the cafe - I was able to find authentic Italian ingredients for at home meals that I couldn't find elsewhere. It is our go-to lunch place to bring friends and family who visit from out of town, and a great place to meet up with a friend for lunch and a good chat!
Such an awesome cafe! Everything is homemade, even their awesome strawberry syrup for drinks! Staff is super friendly and the prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend their smoothies and macaroons too, fresh and super flavorful. I’ll definitely be back!

LOVE Bonfattos!!! The food, the coffees, the atmosphere, everything. It’s so cozy and the staff are always so friendly. My new obsession is the chocolate croissant. I’ve never had an espresso drink I didn’t like!
Of course the subs are great. Same awesomeness for 50 years. Did you know, however, that you can also get the right kind of tomatoes and other fixings to make awesome bolognese!
