My one regret is that I only discovered this place 3 weeks into my 5+ weeks stay in Portland which was a short 5 minute walk from where I lived. Marty the owner rescued me by fixing my hiking pole used as a walking aid post knee surgery during the historic snow back in late February while he was out shoveling snow. Ended up bringing my work to get done there at least 3-4 times weekly for the remaining time in Portland and Marty + his baristas were all fabulous. The atmosphere was conducive for working and there are a couple of cafe regulars- David, Jaime and another professor who would be at their same spots on the long table working. Positive vibes all around and connections made too. Could not recommend this place even more to anyone looking for a regular spot to remote work and the staff are always chirpy. Marty if you're seeing this, love from 12,000+ miles away in Singapore!

Great atmosphere, fairly old building, probably dates to 1920's, or so. Wonderful staff, very popular place to come to. Lots of artwork inside, with some unusual pieces. Found out, it was built in 1910!

What an absolute gem!! Rori is as sweet with a little bit of tart, just like her homemade raspberry jam. The laid-back atmosphere sets you at ease and prepares you for a truly magical culinary experience of mountain-magic soul food prepared lovingly from scratch by Rori herself. Indulge in her homemade sweet oat bread french toast and huevos rancheros. Her raspberry preserves are to die for. The mimosas did not disappoint. We only wish we could take her to-go.. with us.

Cozy and vibrant coffee shop in NW Slabtown area. Really enjoy coming here to grab a cup of coffee and pastry on a slow morning on one of their comfy couches. Also a great place with reliable wifi if you want to sit and work for a couple of hours. The place ebbs and flows in terms of business, so be prepared to move around to snag a good seat at any given point in the mornings. The coffee is delicious and consistent! Drip coffee is great and refills are $1 per cup. Pastries have a homemade essence and always good portions. They also have a walk up window for coffee on the go! Unique, friendly neighborhood coffee shop that keeps your cup filled!

Delicious. I found they used a darker roast than what I've had in the past, but it is phenomenal. I got an iced vanilla latte and it was definitely one of the best I've had in Portland.

They serve the spiciest chai around :) Their oatmeal raisin cookie is also exceptional. Today, I saw someone here with the most perfect little loaf of a cat, which rode their shoulders like a parrot.

One Of the only cafés in Portland where you won’t see cold narrow breakfast bars to sit at nor loud annoying music. I wish they had more of my favorites on their menu but there may not be a market for them. I would be so happy if they would have a non-sweetened Matcha powder. Most places do these days. I understand they may be loyal to their supplier but why not offer both? Is it too expensive to let people add sweetener if desired to an unsweetened matcha? Maybe?? They do offer an unsweetened chai which is hard to find but it has a bit too much pepper for me personally. Their dragonwell is better than most and i like their earl grey. I am always looking for a vegan muffin with no cane products or chocolate but I might be the only vegan who doesn’t eat cane sugar/ molasses or chocolate LOL. How about a maple syrup or coconut sugar sweetened muffin or peanut butter cookie ?? Again the atmosphere is the best. I wish they could expand. My dream would be for them to take over the building where albina press is as a second location. The music and service are horrible at AP and need some dragonfly energy!!

The most wonderful coffee shop, their special lattes are delicious and it’s a welcoming place with inside and outside seating. Usually busy, for good reason, such a lovely place!!

Love this cute little coffee shop. Service is always very friendly, coffee is top notch and their delicacies are oh so yummy. Go there at least twice a week, definitely a fan.

Love Dragonfly since forever ago. Was fun to see it booming with baristas who know how to make a delish coffee drink. Thanks for being here

I like the Dragonfly, the coffee and treats are good and the people there are great. But, and it’s a tiny but - the service is ever so slightly slipping so maybe this helps I don’t know. The problem I think is the “dual” counter system which works great if it’s organized with a person dedicated to both - except it never is and this invariably leads to issues in service and quality of product which is slipping a little. I want this to be constructive feedback - I think it’s a small tweak away from being as good a coffee shop in a city of great ones. Hope this helps.
