The nicest woman I’ve met so far in Portland—and she criminally undercharges. I only paid $7 for a customized coffee and a huge cinnamon roll. In 2023. Please go visit this shop, you will come back.

Lovely atmosphere, staff was very friendly and personable. We got two coffees and four pastries for $17, so I’d say that the prices are great as well. Will definitely be back!

Love this place- it’s now my regular coffee shop. Was immediately able to strike a rapport with the owner/s, who are friendly and knowledgeable about coffee and pastries etc - plus there’s always great music playing. Yay!

I love Broken Robot so much! Heather and Lisa are so sweet and I love that it's owned by a mother/daughter combo! I love supporting female owned businesses. The coffee is excellent, and is brewed by the son! It's a whole family affair. Their pastries are YUMMY! Definitely recommend!! 5 stars 🌟

The coffee is pretty good at this family owned and operated neighborhood shop. The brother is the roaster. The sister owns the shop and her daughter works here. Extra shots on the house The dog craves the treats here (Beggin strips - looks like bacon and apparently the dog thinks they taste like it too) And the gluten free treats are AMAZING! They offer some regular gluten FULL treats and bake chocolate chip cookies and 2 types of muffins for the gluten intolerant. My kid who is celiac can eat them and said it was one of the best CC cookies she’s ever had (I eat gluten and I crave the gf cookie here - it’s that good) We walk over 1.5 miles to come here and we’ve done it several times- it’s that good of an experience

Very nice place for morning coffee. The best name for a coffee shop IMO, because I feel like exactly like that until my coffee.

Great coffee and the owners are wonderful. I live down the street and stopping there to grab coffee and chat for a minute is one of my favorite ways to start my day.

This little coffee shop is just such a gem. Nestled on the first floor of a really cool building/neighborhood! The drink prices are so reasonable and the owners are such great people. There’s not a lot of sitting space inside, but you can find additional seating on the side of the building, or quite simply take a short walk to Kenilworth Park.

Great service, good iced vanilla latte and friendly barista! Fun background 'coffee shop' music with outdoor seating. Also, lots of street trees for shade. A few doors down from Yoko's Japanese Restaurant and C Bar. Open 7 to 4 daily. 👍
