Small, cozy and local coffee shop will welcome any people with an amazing service and an excellent coffee, offering from traditional meno to seasonal drink options. If the cravings it's for a cold brew (or a nitro one) this Stumptown shoul be an option.
A small coffee shop attached to the Ace Hotel. You like fast service, knowledgeable baristas, and great coffee? Well look no further because this is your place. The seating is limited, but there’s more in the hotel lobby, with deep couches and a cozy loft.
Awesome, place, cool crew. On a vacation and walking around. You can also sit over in the ace hotel and enjoy your drink.
Great spot for coffee, but I did make a crucial mistake on my end by ordering their breakfast sandwich. Connected to the Ace Hotel where we stayed, this cute little shop served up great coffee. However, I did take the extra step and ordered a bacon and egg breakfast sandwich, which may have contained tree nuts, for which I was not notified until I noticed a pesto-like sauce. I did ask the baristas who did confirm that a previous recipe did contain tree nuts, so I spend the next 30 minutes waiting for a reaction (not a great way to start the day). The staff did come by to check on me which was appreciated and they did mention that the new recipe may not contain the nuts. Regardless, I still felt it prudent to not finish the sandwich. Overall a good spot that I just happened to have a poor experience with. Guess I wasn’t expecting a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich to contain tree nuts, but you learn something new every day.
Great coffee, chill spot.
I still like their beans but wow, i had an incredibly disappointing $6 latte today. Milk was scalded and tasted old, couldn’t even finish it. I guess I didn’t think it was possible for them to change that much from what they used to be.
I visited here because apparently it's an iconic establishment in Portland. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, unless I'm absolutely exhausted, but it was chill just crossing it off my list. I don't know if it is worth the drive from out of town tho. Maybe make it a part of your day if you're exploring Portland instead because it definitely is hard to find parking. I parked near a hydrant, thank goodness I didn't get a ticket, just for this opportunity. I purchased the decaf ice latte based upon the recommendation of the worker there. Chill atmosphere!
Good coffee shop. Good pastries and great service.
Awesome ambiance, the couch in the lobby is outstanding, obviously the coffee was great too! ☕
this cafe is the brillant place to have a cuppa, combination of relaxing and smart calm atmosphere.
Super cute. Friendly staff. And great drinks!
Near perfect coffee. Velvety smooth and balanced. Beautiful space and people. A must visit. Oh, and they have gorgeous merch.
Had heard of this chain from Vancouver BC where baristas at coffee shops raved about their beans. Tried out a cold brew and can definitely agree!! Fantastic flavour and depth to their coffee. The coffee shop had very chill vibes despite being busy and we made use of the ace hotel next door to kick it for a little bit!
They’re probably more like a 4.5, but I love their coffee a lot!
My first coffee experience in Portland. The coffee and service are excellent, the bagel was NY yummy and sitting down in the lounge area was just the atmosphere I envisioned. Awesome place.
Best in town by far! Lots of single origin coffee beans from various farms worldwide, mostly dorect trade over 10 years! Check for a single origin coffee, changes on a daily basis. Hot chocolate for kids for a $1 only for any coffee that you purchased. Free coffee for purchases of a coffee beans.
Located in the Ace Hotel with a nice cozy lobby with a large seating area. Ordered a seasonal maple latte and it was very yummy.
favorite place to get coffee in portland! excellent pastries and welcoming baristas :)
Stumptown roast some of my favorite coffee! It was so fun to visit!
Great tasting coffee. Better than Starbucks and way cozier. Would definitely come here again.
