Good coffee, pleasant, friendly service, with a nice open and bright space. This coffeehouse is proudly non-dairy; the oat milk creamer was an acceptable alternative to dairy, even if the consistency and aesthetic of the cup was slightly sub-par.

I am not 100% sure how I feel about this coffee shop. I would try it again. However, today's experience was just okay. The nitro cold brew was very good. The space was a bit cold and uninviting. It could just be the first impression that was lackluster, but it is hard to say. I won't give specifics on the reasons, I will just hope it's better if there is a next time.

This is such a lovely, calm shop. My visit was so stellar & the coffee is exquisite. The Flapback latte is the bomb. The owner, Travie, is the sweetest, most adorable personality & inviting. I highly recommend visiting this coffee shop. It's a delightful experience.

Coffee is always exceptional, people are great, bagels also tasty. I also love that they don't charge extra for milk alternatives!

One of my favorite coffee shops in town. The coffee is consistent, and the staff are nice. It’s an added bonus that all their pastries are vegan.

Oracle was amazing! The coffee was perfection...so smooth and rich. The staff were kind and seemed chill and content to be there, which is hard to find these days. Really enjoyed my coffee and the whole vibe there.

Coffee was good. Atmosphere was nice and not too busy on a weekday mid morning. It was hard to find parking nearby though so I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Great space! Very clean, modern and also very Portland. Not too cluttered and the tables aren't to close together. You can ell he owners spent a lot of time and energy on the space. Drink wise: I got an iced matcha. Pretty standard, but pretty good! (how creative or different can you get with a basic drink choice like that) It was a tad more expensive than some other places in town, but not by much. For me, the selling point is that several of the tables have outlets near them! Some don't, but some do. I am surprised by how many coffee shops don't have outlets. I love coming to coffee shops and doing work, although as a business owner I totally understand not wanting someone to pay for a $6 drink and camping out at a table for 6 hours on their computer. Overall, a great spot! Even though I don't live in this part of town, I can see myself coming back for the environment.

I live in the neighborhood and quickly became something of an Oracle regular. I find Oracle to be one of the top coffee shops in Portland despite doing my best to look past the convenience bias. More than one day I've gone across town and been disappointed, so don't make that mistake! Go to Oracle! I understand Oracle has some history as pre-COVID multi-roaster bar but I've mostly seen them carry Terrain these days. Terrain is based in Vancouver (and worth a trip!) and makes an all around great coffee. Try the single origin espresso! This also leads to some fairly novel offerings, like an excellent summer cold brew latte that I think is a cut above the competition. For me, the real stand-out specialty drink at Oracle is their mocha, which can be described as a "dark chocolate" mocha and is made with Kali Chocolate (that I think is from Oceania somewhere) and produces a rich, not-too-sweet treat with a really well developed coffee flavor. A lot of Oracle's competitors in Portland use Holy Kakow chocolate *syrup* which I find a bit lackluster in comparison, and that is among their closest competitors. Give it a try! Oracle also stocks seasonal treats from Shoofly Bakery (also worth a trip) that are all plant-based and with gluten free options. I find these treats excellent and Shoofly is probably my preferred bakery. They sell out quickly (too quickly for me!) and some of the options, especially the year-round cinnamon roll, I do think would satisfy a discerning omnivore. I love the scones! While I tend toward sweets, they have a lovely bagel selection as well, with a tasty plant-based cashew cream. It should go without saying, but I must add that all the Oracle baristas are friendly, exceedingly capable, and very helpful for clientele new to specialty coffee or plant-based shops. You will be well taken care of, and I think meeting them will brighten your day. It always brightens mine!

I like to try unique coffee spots in each location I visit and stumbled upon Oracle. The cafe is very clean and modern. The coffee is rich and flavorful. Definitely a memorable place. Looking forward to trying the ground espresso beans when I get home.

Good coffee. Great servers. The oat milk for the latte could have been better. To thin not enough body. Made the latte taste watery. But otherwise worth the visit on Christman eve morning

Snow day in Portland so naturally everything shuts down. But the Oracle staff persevered to stay open for the neighborhood with quality 3rd wave coffee and tea (food was sold out). My wife and I found Oracle because we went on a walk and an afternoon espresso sounded good. The staff were really friendly and patient despite being on the tail end of one of their busiest days ever according to them. Pleasant neighborhood atmosphere for sure.

Love the vegan forward menu! The peppermint mocha was awesome. My grandma can’t even tell her cappuccino doesn’t have cows milk in it!

My neighborhood coffee shop. Vegan menu. my go-to is their matcha latte with oat milk! Their bagels and whatever plant based smear they offer is also top tier- but they’re usually sold out when I visit. Lol
