Del Sol sandwich!!! Literally the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. The passion and creativity from Lily is amazing. Extra shout out to Ace and Miranda, great baristas and always great vibes. Love them all!
Bright and airy coffee spot. Friendly batista and nice ambience for reading or getting a little work done. The pastries are delicious, gourmet takes on some coffee shop classics. Their mochas are made with mild, non-burned, non-bitter coffee. It reminded me of the delicious brews I would drink when I was in Colombia. Coffee should not taste burnt or bitter and Futura nails it.
Okay look this place has some very expensive coffee, but if you can justify treating yourself and you’re willing to pay for a premium for super ethical coffee, they have some of the best in the city. The Ethiopian espresso was a perfectly bitter zing in a cup. The pour over is like a coffee bean soup in a soup bowl. Right up there with Carnelian for me.

I think this is one of the best roasters in the country. Their nuance with light roast is unparalleled. Pour overs here are exquisite. Staff has been welcoming and so knowledgeable. Staff keep the mood calm and inviting. In a town with excellent coffee choices this place is at the top. Freedom and all staff have been so wonderful and friendly. Thank You! My partner and I were just texting about how much we love Lilly and Freedom! Just love em!

Rocking a little 90s grunge as I sip some single origin drip from Panama. But the highlight was the pear/rosemary danish. Easily the best pastry I have had in the last10 years. Great place to stay warm and dry on a rainy Spring day in Portland.
Great ambiance and amazing coffee
Had their dried tomato/pesto, spinach, egg, mozzarella panini sandwich. They were out of balsamic but it was delicious even without it. Very soft, freshly made, soul warming and just so good. Clean interior, lots of light streaming in but not direct so it's a great place to work on a laptop or meet up with friends, spacious, friendly staff.

We drive down from tacoma every saturday for school and stop here before class .. Amazing breakfast.. Sweetest staff.. And coffee is amazing..
Formerly 'Fillmore,' this location has been redesigned and, in my opinion, revived. I believe the ownership changed during the pandemic. What used to be a darker, more dimly lit space is now brighter, with a more open and welcoming feel to it. The staff were friendly and kind. I had a lovely cup of Chai and an everything bagel with the Smoked Salmon Schmear! The coffee and food menus are simple but excellent. I will definitely try this place out again! You should too!
Hip cafe with a great mission. Not the most extensive food options, especially for those with dietary restrictions but it's a coffee shop, and their coffee is amazing and well curated/roasted.
Got a simple dairy milk 12oz latte. It's not very good if I'm honest. It has a strange flavor/smell that reminds me of the smell of the store.
This place is lovely and the owners are eco-savvy, they even order milk from a company that delivers in refillable glass bottles, and they offer borrowable reusable to-go cups.
Incredibly friendly baristas, great coffee, yummy pastries and they let my pup come in to order (not sit inside though, which is reasonable). Super happy to have another quality coffee shop around the corner after Filmore left. PS Marv, my pup, 120% approves, even if he only got the empty cup 😉.
