A woman working there didn't allow my service animal to be with me in the shop, which is a violation of the ADA. Despite never previously having an issue with other staff, this staff member told me the animal could only walk through the shop and she instructed me to leave.

I tried this place during our road trip to Oregon. Server was super friendly. I tried blended barista brew with some chocolate (servers recommendation) and it was just perfect. Do checkout this place whenever you’re in the area!

Great coffee, good pastries, big menu, nice staff. I've never waited less than 5 min per person in line, but it's usually closer to 10. So if I'm the 3rd person in line, I better have at least 30 min to wait for my coffee. They've also shorted me twice now, $10 the first time and $5 today. I can't afford to hemorrhage money and time like that, so I'll have to find a new coffee shop.

Barista Brew has given me something I've not had in a long time ... the same flavor experience that the lovely chai lattes gave me back when Coffee People's Motor Moka did their magic. The chai lattes Kristin concocts are sweet but not too sweet, vanilla-inflected, velvety-textured little marvels. A good chai latte is satisfying for the body and aromatherapy for the spirit and these have that all. Also I recommend the scones. The barista is adept at sourcing a lovely, light yet solid, tender scone that is lovely on the palette. We've driven past this place for a long time. I'm glad we stopped finally. A little indie Portland gem!
