Very pleasant place to hang out. I enjoy the food there but think it a bit pricey for what you actually get so 4 stars not 5 but given the lack of good coffee houses around OC I definitely recommend. Staff is nice. Bus your own table. Stay and relax :)

I met one of their amazing staff today. I forgot to take the change after payment and the staff sought after me though she was very busy with the customers in queue. Thank you for the fantastic service!

Spacious and chill cafe. Lot of seats and pretty clean. You will meet retired people and home office people both there. Food price 10% cheaper than downtown. Drip coffee small size $2.5, chess bagel $~5. Good food quality with affordable price. Will go there again.

First time visiting since they re-opened and I noticed that some of it's old charm has been stripped away. The staff was very nice, and service was great. Some of the recipes for food have changed. Overall I'm really glad that the plant wall is still there, but it feels kind of empty... I miss the books, the art, the quirky tables and chairs and all the extra plants that made this place feel so cozy.

Decaf american coffee was awful, very weak and bitter. Having the coffee served in a plastic cup/mug horrifying. The lox bagel was nice, fresh bagel was lovely. The portion of lox was rather ridiculously tiny for a $14 sandwich, it barely covered the bagel. Person who typo my order was apathetic at best. I would not visit again the inside is unkept and the table was dirty.

The food is good. The service was unprofessional. The cashier was passive aggressive, immature and in great need of educating. I worked front of house for 15 years in restaurants. This along with bussing our own tables and having to provide a tip at the beginning and considering the prices is off putting. Our party of three agreed that we will not be returning. Whoever the cashier was on 1/29 has just caused this establishment to lose business.

I loved pre covid Singer hill. Super cute cafe. I didn't mind the self bussing situation because I enjoyed the food. Staff was friendly overall . My only issue now is the food price point . The price for a grilled cheese , BLT and salad was high. The coffee drinks are wonderful but I won't be back again just because for what I spent here I could have gotten higher quality elsewhere. If I was a heavy coffee drinker or breakfast person it may have had more appeal to bring me back . Unfortunately I am not . This place again is super cute but the lunch menu was lackluster. The salad was an upcharge and was literally just lettuce.

I haven’t had such a good almond croissant in a long time. The almond paste is what really makes it. The vertical garden is also worth checking in on. To the woman behind the counter who said she couldn’t pull off a faux fur jacket, just take the plunge and get one. Anyone can pull it off.

We love it here! My coworkers and I take turns visiting with an autistic client and the staff is always friendly! Coffee is good, and they have great pastries when popped in the microwave for a little, dine in, or take out🤗

We love Singer Hill Cafe - Straight forward, easygoing atmosphere to enjoy a bite and some caffeine after story time at the library. Today however, we were lucky enough to meet a long time employee of Singer Hill who made our usual great experience, exceptional! I’m kicking myself for not asking her name but we look forward to seeing her again. She prepared a fruit plate for my 17-month old who really needed a nap and was struggling to get through lunch. She ate it up and put this slightly stressed out parent complete at ease. Give this woman a raise! Can’t thank you enough, see you next week! 💕

I've been here a couple of times and as a plant lover, I am very into the wall of greenery 😁. Coffee and food are solidly good.
