I came in on Wednesday 4/12 with my employee on the way to a job. There was no line and we ordered our two drinks right off the bat. It took over 15 minutes to make our very simple drinks. It appeared that the batista was purposely taking his time to make them as slow as possible. His attitude was rude and pretentious. I'm not sure if he didn't like our blue collar work clothes or our lack of masks, but regardless, to say the service was bad would be an understatement. The nearly 20 minute coffee stop made it so that we were late to the job site, which is something I really hate to do as the owner of a company. I almost never write negative reviews, but the extremely long time it took to get our drinks coupled with the horrible attitudes from both their employees compelled me to do so. Do yourself a favor and get your coffee elsewhere, especially if you're somewhat in a hurry.
Great coffee, small menu but delicious. Also a book shop!!!
I loooove this place. Employees are always friendly, drinks are always on point, and their food options are delicious, too! Oregon City is so blessed to have a business like Black Ink.
Adorable little spot with a fun assortment of gifts.
Amazing Service and very welcoming, feels great to be in this small cafe/library. Love the combo.
One of our new favorite coffee shops. Their pastries are impressive and unique, changing often. Coffee is above average with many options. Worth the visit. Maybe you will become a regular like we are.
Cute, cozy cafe within a book store. It is the perfect combination!
Great stop for an early morning weekend cuppa; quick service and plenty to browse (should you so choose...) Plenty of seating, in a variety of formats--counter, bench, table, pick your favorite. See you again soon.
I was pretty shocked by the amount/variety of options this little coffee shop had. Though stumptown is by far not my favorite espresso, it was a well pulled shot and a beautifully steamed latte. The vibe was nice and chill, but their seating is a bit lacking. It is like a super rad coffeeshop smashed together with a super cute book/game/gift store. Staff was super friendly. Will definitely be back!
I like this spot. Small bookstore meets delicious coffee shop. Great wifi if you’d like to get some work done.
The coffee is delicious and authentic, and the snacks are always unexpected and have never disappointed. Menu items often include baked goods from around the world. There is seating alongside the windows and at the bar. Prices are good (I would consider very standard for this area) and thr service is always friendly, prompt, and laid back.
Tried one of the seasonal coffee flavors this morning and it was amazing!! I definitely recommend the maple!
Great shop, properly brewed teas and good coffee. Great, fun place to peruse cards ,books and gifts
Cute little book store with gifts and excellent traditional cappuccinos made to perfection. I love the Artsy vibe here and the staff was so much fun. A perfect hangout in downtown Oregon City.
Excellent coffee, best I've had in O City
Wicked good coffee and the selection is bang-up...it's all the soccer moms you have to dodge that keep it from 5 stars.
Super friendly, lots of cool quirky things to look at and buy! Delicious coffee and treats. ☕🥐🥯
stopped by on a whim and absolutely fell in love with the place. the atmosphere is inviting, welcoming and calm and the staff are so friendly and genuine! it was especially nice to be able to get a vegan cookie:)
If it was not for having woke politics shoved in your face I think this would be a 4-5 star place. The coffee is good and the barista working was cordial. However if you literally have a shrine to RBG and 80% of the store is full of other work memorabilia than it’s quite uncomfortable if your anywhere right of Marx.
This establishment serves up some amazing Espresso and knowledge to boot! Hayden is an absolute rockstar, their knowledge on the coffee is head and shoulders above the rest. Go on in there and get yourself a double to give your day the kick that it needs!
