The velveteen cofftail was delicious if your a fan of strong cold brew highly recommend
Asked for a 16 ounce Latte which was $6 and they failed to tell me until it came out that they only do 12 ounce for their Latte. Not great coffee and I paid $10 for a 12 ounce latte and a 16 ounce black coffee. Not at all happy that they didn't tell me that they only do 12 ounce latte when I ordered a 16. Who does only 12 ounce anyway? Would've been happier going to Dutch Bro a block away.
If you are happy with 3rd wave coffee trends then this will suit you fine. It is more or less spot on trend with medium to light roast acidic coffee that tastes best when milked and sugared. If you prefer European traditional dark roast espresso and the smoother richer flavors that come with that, or prefer black coffee, you will be disappointed. Pastries looked attractive though sparse on my visit and I declined to spend another $5 to test them. The staff are pleasant and efficient.
The coffee is bomb and the strawberry matcha is great. The strawberry whip cream is to die for.
I got cortado, it’s incredibly excellent! The baristas are very nice and skilled! It is the best cortado I’ve tried on Oregon coast! I bought a bag of their roasted coffee beans, It’s flavorful. If you come around, you should stop by. :)
Having moved to Newport from Portland, it's nice to finally have a local place that does great coffee!
A great escape on any day at the Oregon coast. If you're looking for actual espresso or pour-over in Newport - THIS is it! Ample parking and bright, inviting atmosphere. Delicious baked goods as well.
Amazing owner, great coffee, good vibes all around
Ordered myself a coffee and a cinnamon roll to-go. Nice simple clean interior. Conveniently located off of Hwy 101. Everything tasted great, fast service!
Wonderful coffee shop with friendly customer service. Great spot to check out in Newport for quality roasted beans and beautifully pulled espresso.
Coffee was good but the donut I got was very stale; Like days old. This is a very sterile coffee shop. Good if you like places with no vibes whatsoever; like having coffee at the dentist
Legit roaster, not conforming to the coast's over-roasting tendency. Very good, and priced accordingly. Nice cafe; odd location but not terrible.
"Emergency" stop after the coffee at our vacation rental was truly terrible. Great tasting espresso, beautiful modern interior that still feels welcoming, and my kids were big fans of the s'mores hot cocoa.
Great coffee shop, friendly staff, comfortable environment, if I have a lot of free time, I can sit here for an afternoon and taste different coffees, the coffee tastes great, I like this place so much,
Been here 3 times so far and already my favorite spot for espresso I've found in the Newport area. Quick and quality. My first cortado was perfectly pulled, but my second cortado and following shots of their wonder-Blend and Decaf were all underextracted, likely due to swings in weather. My 3rd shot was, again, perfectly pulled. Staff mentioned they dial the grind in twice a day so this should just be a fluke and so far they dial it in far better than anyone else in town I've tried. The scones were fresh and the atmosphere is clean and chill.
Won't go to establishments that don't take cash
Cute shop. Friendly staff.
Great ambiance and delicious coffee. Follow the white rabbit.
