Owner/manager responses to legitimate customer experiences, concerns and reviews are snide and dismissive. Way too much ego and zero accountability. Sorry, not sorry, there's nothing special about Salt EXCEPT for the inexcusable wait times for "artisan" and "made to order" average overpriced bagels and breakfast burritos. We've actually been to Stumptown so bragging about ingredients doesn't excuse failures at Salt. The menu offers nothing that takes 30 minutes to prepare no matter what excuses the manager and owners throw out there, including being "busy". It wasn't busy. We were going to spend more on breakfast until we were asked if we could wait 30 minutes for burritos, lol. We opted for a few pastries, wish we would have skipped those too - dry, tasteless, overpriced and by the time we discovered that we were already driving. Music was too loud, as others have said, and there isn't anywhere to sit and dine. So even if you eventually get your food, you'll have to stand around gobs of retail stuff made in China. Ya'll don't know whether you're a coffee shop/ restaurant or a retail store. And please, The prices are ridiculous. The bottom line, it wasn't worth the time and certainly not the money. You won't survive on one time customer visits, we won't be back.

This is an enjoyable spot with some very tasty food offering from the baked goods to the flavorful and fresh breakfast foods. The only thing that goes a little awry in this spot is the balancing point of trying to be a quaint beach shop and a trendy coffee shop at the same time. The music can be a bit loud and if you aren't listening closely (because you were say, looking at the pretty merchandise around the dinning area/merchandise racks) some issues can arise like your order being picked up by someone with a similar name. I don't entirely know how one could make this better but they recovery for the error was first class and well done.

Mistake on our order, the music is chill and good admosphere but they need to add numbers to their receipts with names so people can know when their order is coming up

This place is popping! Got one of the chocolately blended drinks with fine ground coffee and was yum 🤤! The store gives you a expensive trip/vacation vibe. I think they are better off lose some of the products items and increase actual seating to promote a better “coffee experience”. I was having a hard time to find a seat after I order. After all it is a supposed to be a coffee shop. Maybe they don’t want people to stay too long as well…

Coffee is nice and good quality. We were pleasantly impressed overall. Stopped in for coffee twice while in Lincoln City area. Just need to ask for your coffee to be "extra hot" or it comes to you just warm. Overall, definitely worth going too.

Great little coffee shop. Food was excellent - not a massive choice but tasty! Unexpected given it's location.

Best latte and breakfast burrito in Lincoln City! Great atmosphere and if you're in the mood for something sweet, the Valrhona Mocha is also 10/10. Love this place!

Really cute place to hang out and have a coffee; nice lil ambience. My daughter and I stopped to check it out and I got something called a 'Minimosa' which I believe was made with their pomegranate wine. But WHEW am I happy I didn't get the much larger 'MOMosa' because it worked! We had to walk around the mall for a couple hours so it could wear off!😅😂 Lovely place, lovely drinks, lovely staff 😊
