This place is amazing, and fresh bread,the molasses bread out of this world, and Cheese cake factory ain't got nothing on these wonderful people.
The Otis omelet is really good! We ordered the cinnamon roll French toast was way too sweet for me but my husband loved it. Food came out fast!
All the things me and my wife have eaten there has been most tremendous. German hash browns awesome to perfection. Bacon cooked to my expectations. Biscuits and gravy very close to my Texas likings. The Banana bread made there I not seen it’s equal. The Pumpkin bread is astounding.
Food was amazing!! Black molasses bread is a must!!! Service was excellent!!! 5 stars
What a gem! This place is awesome and usually busy busy because the food is great! The service is top notch they have excellent staff. One of if not the best breakfast spots in Lincoln City. The Chicken fried steak was delicious and huge. Saint Claire omelet just as good and packs a punch. The Molasses toast was so good I bought another loaf and brought it home. Definitely will be back!
4.28.23- new location, food was great, service sucked! Waitress walking around with her kid, and not checking in customers or asking if we need a to go box or how was everything? Here’s your food, and then nothing but the bill. Can’t NOT love this place. Glad they were able to rebuild and moved into a bigger more conveniently placed location. They are always busy; food and staff are fantastic and the overfull parking lot is an indication they are consistent with their good food. Portions are large so order 2/3 of what you usually would and you’ll still have extra. Black molasses toast is fantastic.
The food is good . But not good enough to wait in a long line . I would go back if they weren't real busy . The waitress was kind of rude .
Busy place, great food you won't go away Hungary... So glad brother Dave and sister in law turned us on to this place. Love the molasses dark bread, to die for. Happy Place..
It's tiny so if they are busy your practically elbow to elbow with other patrons. They make an amazing molasses bread but that is where the good food stops. I returned my sausage & biscuit it was AWFUL. No one else returned there's but none of us will ever return for a meal there. The wait staff was very friendly though but good service can only go so far.
Yesterday was our first time at this newer Otis Cafe. Until then, every time we were in Lincoln City, we couldn't find a parking spot. The service was great and the food good. I must warn you, if you order the french toast, which mentions "thick slices," you might want to only order the two slices and not four. They are really thick, but very good. The only thing I would say I was a little disappointed in was the lack of menu items containing seafood. There was only one on the menu and the other was a special. What can I say? I like eating seafood when I'm at the coast. There were a few times where it was so loud in there, we couldn't hear each other. In general though, it was all good and we'd go again.
A friend and I accidently found this place in August of 2021 while on a beach trip. We are SO glad that the other place we tried was closed--this place is now our go-to every time we come into Lincoln City. Never disappoints! Servers are attentive and friendly, and food is delicious and filling! Otis Café is so popular, so there can be a wait to get in, and their parking lot filled.

Very clean and friendly staff. Good breakfast place, wait time is not bad. I really like the white cheddar they like to be generous with, gives it a nice central coastal flair. Lots of locals which is always a good sign. Cinnamon roll was a very nice extra.
We loved this spot so much we went twice during our stay. The service was excellent and kind. The breads and potatoes were really standouts. And the pie... The marionberry pie was dreamy! Would definitely return.
Parking is limited so we walked. Small wait outside but WELL WORTH THE WAIT. EXTREMELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! German potatoes were delicious.
The fact that this place is ALWAYS busy speaks for itself. Everything is consistently very good. The owners obviously know what they're doing. Wish they'd buy some of the lesser we'll run establishments. (maybe look in neskowin)
Tiffany was an amazing host/server! She was kind, helpful, and even prayed with me for my daughter who is going through a rough time. The food was delicious and worth the wait/weight! The corned beef hash was to die for and I LOVED their molasses bread!
Busy, but staff worked super hard clearing tables and making sure everyone was happy. Wonderful food! Will certainly be back!
Arrived 30 minutes before they closed and was wondering if we would be rushed. We were not. Thank you, staff, that welcoming feel was appreciated so much! I know you all want to go home, too, that's why feeling like we were welcome to stay as long as we needed was so nice. I noticed you all didn’t bat an eye when a couple with children came in after us. Thank you for that hospitality. I see your staffs kindness. This is why I love this community I'm blessed to be a part of. Staff was so friendly, welcoming and the atmosphere is just what I remember the Otis to be. Food was great. Large portions. A huge BLT on homemade toasted bread. Omelette was full of cheese and ham. Fat homemade toast that did not disappoint. (Take a loaf home!) Crispy hashbrowns. Service was fast, food arrived hot. Glad I stopped by and will be back soon to try some other treat. Thanks for a wonderful lunch after a hectic morning and a busy week.
This place serves amazing food with their own in house bake breads. They are really friendly and very efficient. Portions are pretty big also. If you arrive for breakfast after 9am there is usually a wait as the place is extremely busy.
