Barista didn't know how to make a cappuccino. It had way too much milk, it was basically a latte. The not too friendly staff weren't helpful and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. The store and outdoor area is nice but their coffee was bad. They sell roasted bags of coffee for waaaay too much money. You can get better coffee for cheaper from Peet's or Stumptown. Or, you can just go to Starbucks which actually had better coffee then Ava (which is saying something). I would not go back.
SUCH great food, AMAZING service, and the staff is DELIGHTFUL. Love this place!!!
Decent iced latte, a bit more milk than most other cafes around pdx
Great little local coffee shop for sure. I got a large cold brew which was plenty big but also pretty pricey - $5.80 or something. Coffee tasted great though so worth it in my opinion.
Wasn't crowded when we were there on a weekday at 9:30 am. Decent assortment of breakfast items.
Food was great and coffee even better!
Plenty of space, quiet, open, friendly, good coffee, alternative milks available, warm, light and bright
Lovely café with indoor and outdoor seating. The Apple Strudel was delicious and so was the Americano. Definitely a nice place to enjoy your coffee while working. Or just to catch up with a friend.
We paid $12 and $13 for sandwiches that turned out to be kid size and subpar quality. Bf got a coffee, he said "the coffee is mid" and I had a peach italian soda that tasted like generic peach rings, not great.
Fast Friendly service, really enjoyed my chai latte.😁
Coffee is good and strong. Freshly brewed and never burnt. The snack options are delish as well
Ordered delivery and the pastries and coffees were so fresh and delicious!
Coffee and the carrot cake were so good. Also recommend the chocolate caramel sea salt cupcake.
Price is reasonable for a large size of iced latte. This shop is right next to the entrance of the plaza.
Nice coffee, croissant a little tough, not light and flakey. May be a day or 2 old. It would be considerate if they put out hand sanitizer for finger foods. Nice location.
Have been going to various Ava's locations off and on for years now. Food and coffee are usually on point and enjoy the atmosphere. I like this location for its setup and nice view to the fountain outside. The employees are kind and make sure to take care of you. They don't mind a bit of small talk. Appreciate their latte art 🎨. Great job and thank you! 😄👍
Wish this place could be 24 Hours again. Coffee is pretty good, it just depends on who's making it. I love the pastries and sandwiches 🥪
Located in Lake Oswego, without the snobby attitude. There is adequate seating with enough distance that you don't feel like you're sitting in on someone else's conversation. Sandwiches for breakfast and lunch are available with an assortment of beverages.
Disappointing, looking at the pictures of coffee I was thinking I would get a hot well crafted latte with foam. What I recieved was cold cup of saddness.
Everything is mediocre. The bagel had those hard spots you get when you microwave a frozen bagel. The dark chocolate mocha tasted like it had that Hershey's dark chocolate syrup in it. Can't we get mochas made with decent chocolate without driving to Ken's Artisan Bakery? The cream cheese and peach danish was overly sweet, and made with canned peaches. I tried three things here, and can't recommend even one of them.
