The customer service at remedy is top tier! I came in today and there was a very nice lady working alone (if i remember correctly her name was Shay), she told me about what it’s like to live in the area, all of the best local’s secret spots and her favourite hikes in the area! She recommended me the Hood River Bowl and the Green Island smoothie, which were both amazing and looked beautiful. I would definitely go back any day that she’s working, highly recommend having a conversation with her.
I just went in there this afternoon and was not greeted or asked if I was ready to order. When I went to the counter the lady working just stood there. I then ordered and asked if I could customize ONE thing on my salad. She stared at me and then said “I guess”. We then got done ordering and she didn’t say anything. We got the food and left after being very uncomfortable in the store. Not friendly or kind. Don’t get me wrong the food was amazing and great prices but the customer service was horrible. We then left and we didn’t get a thank you or come again. We weren’t treated with respect and kindness. We were also from out of town wanting to try something new so that was a bummer.
Extremely healthy options on their menu, the staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. Thank you remedy for keeping me healthy. I highly recommend trying this place.
Got the GLT shot and the Pranick juice - both very delicious. Friendly staff
The juice was ok. Nothing special and actually pretty bitter. The breakfast burrito( ordered without bacon) was not edible. We threw it away.
They were super nice, but it took 15-20 mins for them to tell me they didn’t make the vegan tamales I ordered today. Such a bummer :(
The offerings are amazing; however, their hours, teenage staff, and pickup orders times are EXTREMELY INCONSISTENT. In fact, I’m in front of the store now for a 9am breakfast date. They were supposed to be open at 8am. No one is there. This has been a consistent problem three weekends in a row. I only found out about this place a month ago. No idea how long these problems have been happening, but assuming quite a while.
I’ve heard great things about this place, but unfortunately each time I go I have to wait at least 15-20 minutes for just one drink. Each employee I have come across doesn’t welcome people in or smile.. at all :/ I understand making time to make each drink/meal perfect for the customer, but I have ultimately received incorrect orders. They also do NOT show importance to food allergies so I do not order food from them anymore. I hope they can make the proper changes to make this a more enjoyable workspace for employees & for customers to feel more welcome. After all, shopping local matters!!! ❤️
My egg bowl was tasty and overpriced, my latte was awful. Appreciate the compostable containers.
There is no curry bowl here, so best not to plan for that. The Chai was pleasant for the brief stroll while passing through. Not sure why you're apogizing for "only " having vegan tamales? How we wish that they all would be everywhere. 💜
Very disappointing. I ordered a smoothie. It took over 20 minutes to get it with two people working and only 2 people ahead of me. The music was blaring and awful hard beat bad music. What happened. I used to love this place but subjecting people to music that negatively affects ones cellular structure doesn’t seem to be a good thing for a health place
We were hungry about 3 PM so between meals and most places were not offering food yet. This place did, the waiter was extremely happy to serve us. We got delicious food cheerfully served to us. What a delightful experience.
Best little flax brownie ever! The staff did forget my chicken in my burrito but refunded my money. I know they're training new staff members but my matcha latte was almost all milk and not too much flavor. But they are trying
Avoid this place at all costs. My girlfriend and I went on a blisteringly hot Sunday afternoon thinking a smoothie seemed like a good idea. There is no AC in the restaurant which made waiting for our food rather miserable. Of course, waiting over 20 minutes for one smoothie made it all that much worse. The staff was very unfriendly to us. This place claims to have awesome smoothies/juices, yet they only have a pair of blenders for the entire restaurant. There was an odd odor looming over the restaurant that seemed to be exacerbated by the heat and lack of AC. The kicker of course was that the smoothie we got left a lot to be desired tastewise and we didn't even end up finishing it.
Simple menu buy awesome for so many different dietary needs. But all were hearty and tasted great.
We walked in and waited to order, but when we got to the front we were told that they were so busy that they were not taking orders at the moment. We sat down at a table when a group of 4 people walked in and ordered. We asked why they took their order and they said they are taking orders but it is going to be a long wait. We ended up leaving since we there was now another 4 orders ahead of us. Not sure who is running things there but it’s pretty unprofessional.
I stop in whenever I'm in town and as always they have wonderful smoothies that are fresh and delicious! Friendly staff too! :)
The juice was great, but my breakfast burrito was inedible. I was aware that the burrito was supposed to have beans on it, but when I opened the foil the amount of beans caused the tortilla to be soggy. Also, when I did try to eat pieces of it, the egg was just covered in beans and the juice from the beans. I couldn’t taste anything else.
I visit Hood River every summer and am so glad Remedy Cafe is here. It serves health conscious food in a casual laid back atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and fast. The smoothies are awesome and the Buddha bowl is my fave! But I try something different every time. They also do a juice cleanse which I just learned about. Go get your remedy today!
It’s unfortunate, I used to like this place a lot, but it’s definitely changed and I gotta write a warning review. Remedy has increased their prices significantly and at the same time decreased the portions significantly - so they’re getting at you from both sides. I ordered a Hood River burrito; it was laughably small. It’s amazing they even make them, because they’re turning off customers. Basically a third of the size of a burrito at a place like Chipotle for a higher price. The juices are all in much smaller cups too. I spent over $20 for really not much. I’d recommend the juices at Treebird Market instead, and just get a veggie burrito anywhere else. I expect this place will start getting more and more 1 and 2 star reviews.
