Wish we didn't have a really bad experience.. but we did, unfortunately. We waited for our food to come but it never arrived.. the server said our order's ticket was never received and that's the reason. Our server didn't even apologize.. we were there for an hour! Whomp whomp whomppp. Good mocha though.

Definitely authentic! Loved the food, coffee was great too, it's VERY busy on weekends so keep that in mind. My server was awesome! I got the Swedish pancakes, and they are definitely a classic choice.

Some of the best brunch I have had, went twice on a long weekend in hood river. Didn’t have anything I didn’t like but danish pancakes really tasted like Scandinavia. Highly recommend.

Very good brunch spot! I got the Swedish hash w braised beef short ribs and ham and it was pretty good, but my husband got the lamb burger and it was phenomenal! We also ordered a side of the crispy smashed potatoes and they were the best part of the meal. The service was really good and the coffee was really nice (specifically the foam on my husbands cappuccino.)

I wasn't nearly into this place as I thought I would be. Pictures online make the portions look much bigger than they are. Food is ok, but for the price I'd go basically anywhere else before coming back here.

Great place for meal. I highly recommend the smoked trout Swedish hash and Swedish pancakes. Our pancakes came way before the rest of the meal. (We asked for those to come after, since they are sweet).

Great spot for some different, interesting and hearty meals. I would arrive early to make sure you don’t have to wait too long. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely like to visit again!

One of my favorite brunch places in hood river, food was phenomenal. Fresh & flavorful. Hit the cravings. Husband had the breakfast egg sandwich and I had Lefse (Norwegian potato crepes) + added the Lingonberry. So good.

Very cute old building made into a nice brunch spot. Food was very rich but very tasty. Their breakfast cocktails are very well made.

Absolutely, hands down my favorite spot. The Swedish pancakes with the lemon curd are a Fab and the salmon with the fried eggs were great. You won't be disappointed with their bloodymarys either!!!!

We went on a Friday morning for brunch. It was not too busy and was able to get a table right away (for 6 people). Food was excellent and service as too. Will come back next time we are in town.

Fabulous quaint Nordic Cafe for breakfast or lunch. I recommend the Glavlax on Skagen Shrimp Salad. It comes on a thick slice of Seeded Rye from WHITE SALMON BAKING COMPANY which was a hearty treat with butter and lingonberry jam.

The food is superb and the staff is even more wonderful! We recently hosted a large Nike event at the Hood River Hotel and Broder was kind enough to host us for lunch. Everything went smoothly and they handled it like true professionals. Everyone was very happy with their experience there :) The restaurant itself is adorable as well, a unique place to eat. Highly recommend.

The place is beautiful. Portions are small. Service is slow. Meals are average.

Great place for lunch, but they need a reservation system. It's frustrating to drive a long distance to a half-empty restaurant only to be told the wait is 45 minutes, and there was no option to make a reservation. (Website and phone recording said no reservations).

We came here for the first time for breakfast today. I was excited to try it after reading many great reviews. The wait was 45 minutes. No biggie. The food was okay. Nothing spectacular. The flavor just isin't there for me and the portion was a lot smaller than I expected.

If you haven’t been you must and if you have been you know. This restaurant is connected to the Hood River Hotel. It’s smaller than the other locations, be prepared to wait it’s a popular place.

We enjoyed sazeracs by the fireplace before the Hood River R/R holiday train ride. The busy restaurant had a vibrancy that was pleasant to be around. The shared space with the adjacent hotel lobby is an inviting place.

Wonderful service and excellent breakfast. The Danish pancakes were amazing! Great place to have breakfast if you're in Hood River.
