Always stop for the good coffee and service
Coffee was great but the sisters who own the place were FANTASTIC! Their service was above and beyond! I didn't realize they closed at 3 and when my children and I showed up at closing they were more than happy to make sure we had what we needed before heading back on our road trip. I will definitely be making this my go to coffee shop at the coast!
The lady that own and operate this place are amazing and the coffee is very good.
My family and I went there this morning and we all got pastries! The food was really good and my family also really likes the coffee ☕️
I came here for coffee a couple times on a recent trip to Depoe Bay and was delighted by the entire experience. First, the coffee is amazing. I had a cappuccino the first visit and loved it. The second time I had an iced Americano so that I could taste all of the coffee flavor. And it was so good. So smooth.i just love their coffee. They also stock some tasty breakfast treats and food. Now let's talk about the people that run it. They were all super nice, which is always helpful first thing in the morning. Very nice people. Last, but not least, the building is well cared for and there's a small shop with all kinds of fun, kitschy items. If you're in Depoe Bay, give them a try!
I got the s’mores mocha and my wife got the snickers mocha - they were both delicious! 😍

Wonderful coffee. I order dopio from a stand I haven't been to before, and this blew me away. The espresso was smooth, solid, and rich. No burn. Just a wonderful full bodied mouth that made me ask: who's the roaster and what are the beans. The shop roasts their own, and the blend united a complementary set of beans to produce a force of nature as unstoppable as the tide. So impressed with the experience, I bought beans to take home.
I got coffee there and didn't know what to order. They were sweet and happy suprised me with a drink. The sweetest people ever!
A must stop in Depoe Bay! Good coffee and super friendly atmosphere. Loved the Homemade Father's Coffee Cake - wonderful mix of cinnamon and fresh blueberries!

Wonderful coffee and friendly people. The smell of fresh roasted coffee when you walk in the door is amazing. The owners are very nice and you can tell they put a lot of love and care into their business. It’s not easy owning a small business and I appreciate how hard they work (our family has a small business too). We love coming here whenever we get to the coast and stop by every day to get our coffee and support this local business. When vacationing in this area, we leave our espresso machine home.
I stopped here looking for a coffee shop on my way to Thor's Well and so glad I did. Friendly employees and a cute store. I ended up buying two hats that I was excited to find. I ordered a matcha latte with white mocha added, which is my normal Sbux drink and it turned out great. There is some inside and outdoor seating.
Litetally the ONLY coffee i drink now. Order monthly. Went here for some beans a few years ago. They suggested the Mexican Chiapas, and we went to our hotel and brewed a French press. WOW were we impressed. I ordered some online for home for my espresso machine. Always fresh, great crema, consistent flavor. Only problem now is to keep it down to 4 shots per day! Great staff, shipping is quick. Must visit and drink!
Amazing, sweet employees! Im an ocean local and 1st time visit to coffee! WOW! and the homemade maple cake DELICIOUS! I asked them for a recommend and they did not disappoint! Snickerdoodle latte! YUM! Thank you so much ! Forever be a StarzJeepCrew coastal must coffee stop!
Pirate Coffee is easily one of the best coffee shops in Oregon. We live near Portland and come to the beach 3-4 times a year. We never come to the beach without stopping here. I buy 5 lbs of coffee to take home because you just can’t find coffee this good in Portland. I sometimes have coffee shipped to me too. I purchased the coffeemaker of the month club for my Mom who lives in Medford and she absolutely loves it. The owners are sisters that work in the shop everyday. We are greeted with a warm smile every time we go there. We have been visiting this shop for over 15 years. We started when their parents owned it. They have 2 small roasters and they roast all of their own coffee in the shop. The smell is heavenly. This is nothing like the big boys shop and you will not regret stopping here for delicious coffee and homemade pastries.
No whole milk .... but they have skim?!?!?! What the heck ! And my coffee tasted like blended ice no sugar no coffee at all... ewww I even tipped ! Such a waste of money and time also there "fresh" baked goods are nasty and dry and old not even close to fresh .... also when someone says something you respond ..... not tell them I chose to ignore you and not respond how rude its my dad your lucky I didn't call your manager thats next ....

This is our new favorite coffee shop in Depoe Bay! The staff are wonderful and the lattes we're delicious.
So about 4 years ago was the first time my wife and I had ventured to depoe bay for our first vacation together as a couple and we stayed across the street from pirate. Needless to say 4 years later we are still buying their coffee and anytime we pass through we have to stop by for a Spicy Wench. The roaster has so much passion behind his coffee, folks running the store are awesome and deliver a great experience with genuiality and love for what they are doing. We will always support them and purchase their coffee.
