DON'T STOP HERE. This guy is mentally unstable. He charged us $31 for 3 medium lattes and a reg coffee. While we were waiting we added it up, should've been $24 max. He yelled at us, told us he didn't have any paper when I asked for a receipt. We told him he overcharged us, then he yelled "what the hell is wrong with you" and slammed the window. Rudeness on steroids and a thief!
HORRIBLE COFFEE!!! $6.25 or an Americano! I had to throw it away..nasty!!
Got a large latte - taste ok only but good enough for a long drive. not cheap ($7.75). Service is quick.
Visiting the area for the 1st time. Went there to get a muffin. Place is rundown & can’t tell if there is anyone working. Foreign man came to window after knocking. I asked for a muffin. Immediately the man spoke to me like he couldn’t be bothered. Nasty immediately saying “is that all you want?” He put the muffin in a microwave. It was so dark & dingy inside I wasn’t sure what he was doing. I asked if he was warming the muffin. His response, in a totally nasty tone was “of course” I am. I told him that I didn’t need it warmed up. At that point he started screaming at me, cursing at me and ranting and raving to get the f$&@ out of there, etc. I was in shock. He went on & on. If I’d had a camera handy I would’ve filmed him. How is this allowed in this lovely town? P.S. the only reason to microwave a muffin would be due it being too old and hard to serve naturally.

We stopped to ask for directions and get a coffee. When we asked how far up the highway Salishan was he said “Is that why you stopped here and we said yes, he said forget it and slammed the window. Absolute Ass…….
Hours state they open at 5am. Showed up at 5:20. lights on, open sign on, no one there.
After 4 years of visiting the coast, Nylas has always been our favorite coffee shop. The owner has always been kind to us, and seeing the bad reviews breaks my heart. People have zero patience and just because he doesn't stick his head into your window like Dutch bros, doesn't mean that he is rude or grumpy. Give him a break, were all just trying to make a living. The coffee is the best on the west coast. Try an iced salted caramel white chocolate mocha, and you will se what I am saying. Thank you 😊
Guy was rude and claimed I asked for a medium when I'm positive I asked for a large, when he gave it to me I asked if it was indeed a large because it was tiny and he yelled at me and said "do you want me to prove it!?" I had been polite and given him no reason to be rude. Believe the reviews, I feel for the guy, but no need to keep him in business
Nice little coffee shop. No prices listed on menu. Place needs cleaned up inside.
We stopped in yesterday on 4th of July. My grandson was asking for a milkshake, the gentleman working said something his ice cream doesn't thicken.. W/E that means so I said how about a smoothy enstead and he said the smoothy doesn't thicken either. My wife was wanting her espresso but it wasn't going to come from this place. We ended up pulling away.
Coffee is good, the guy works hard. Glad I visited here today.
Best coffee! We visited the Lincoln City shop and the one in Depoe Bay.
Rude and terrible coffee. Would never go here again ....negative stars would be better. How is this guy still in business?

I pulled up to the drive-thru and waited for a for a guy to take my order. I could see him through the window and I wasn't in a rush so I waited patiently for him to notice me.. When he noticed me, he said," you have to ring the bell this isn't portland, we don't have constant customers like they do!" In a snotty voice, like I did something wrong. After I ordered my drink I was in SHOCK it was over 6$! I looked back at the menu and realized there was no prices at all listed. The coffee was actually good .. But, I will not be returning, the price was double what it normally cost and the service was rude.
I don't know maybe it's just me. But the guy who runs the place is a little out of the ordinary. Coffee is alright. My opinion, better coffee down the road.
How do you not have half the menu's item's? Absolutely trash 🗑 😒 either have the item's you advertised or close!
