Eating donuts at this place reminds me of Homer Simpsons. No idea why.

Friendly staff, fantastic bakery, awesome cakes! A friend asked us to pick up these cakes for a party later in the day. Staff baked us some custom cakes, and we could not have been more pleased with the results. Super tasty, and really REALLY well decorated. We also had to grab some fresh challah bread and merrion berry tarts while we were there. I would highly recommend you do the same.

This is potentially one of the worst businesses in Cannon Beach. The owner is tyrannical, self-righteous and thinks her business is far superior to anyone else's. She treats her employees, neighboring businesses poorly, confrontational, and disrespectful. They don't "believe in gluten-free" and are insensitive to others, customers, and those living in collaboration with community. I highly recommend skipping this bakery and going to Sea Level Bakery in Tolovana (currently a pop-up at Public Coast) who have an amazing business, French style craft pastries, community based, and owned by lovely people.

We loved the pastries but we got a cake for a birthday and were a bit disappointed. The frosting was a bit oily and bland.

Horrendous customer service. Purchased over $50 on their overpriced pastries and a worker showed us a sign that said wait outside. We were drying off while sipping coffee. Not worth the visit.

A grab and go place (some seating outside). The variety of delicious baked goods—some classic, some with nods to the local attractions—won’t disappoint. Friendly service and coffee.

Best bakery on the Oregon coast! You have to try out there cheese bread if there's any left. It's usually gone by 10:00 a.m. so if you don't get there in time, you miss out!

Unfriendly, rude service, and the Haystack bread was not fresh. When you pay $6.50 for a loaf of bread at a bakery, you expect it to be freshly baked that morning. This was definitely day old or more.

Genuinely disappointed with my interactions with Deanna who appears to be in charge of the cakes. Reached out to make an order for a custom cake. After 2 questions on the possibility of flavors with her colleague, which admittedly weren’t listed on the menu (and hence were not possible), Deanna quickly took the phone from her colleague and her first words to me were that it wasn’t going to work and she was not interested in taking my order with the only explanation being that they “have their own way of doing things” and she did not think their way would make me “happy”. Which very much caught me off-guard as I asked the questions out of curiosity and wasn’t upset (nor even surprised) that they couldn’t be accommodated. All interactions, even with Deanna, were amicable. I had already committed to getting back with them with ‘approved’ options and on the timeline requested. So the haste with which she dismissed my inquiry based on questions to her colleague and then very quickly turned very rude (e.g., sharp tone, multiple interruptions: “let me interrupt you”, continued speaking over me) after I asked her why she would think it’s not going to work (as I was genuinely still at a loss as to why she might be upset at the questions to her colleague and still trying to rectify the situation) is nothing short of astounding and puzzling. I’m sure everything is delicious and very well made. But the lack professionalism toward a customer making a good faith attempt toward a mutually agreeable order is some of the worst I have ever seen or experienced. Deanna’s actions unfortunately reflect very poorly on the bakery as a whole so I cannot recommend them.

Today was their first day open for a while, but I got a marionberry scone that was so stale I had to throw it away. It was really pretty awful. Maybe they have been baking before today - it seems maybe they bake for other coffee shops? It was a disappointment for sure. I’m going to go to a different bakery next time I’m in town. I usually come to this one because it’s centrally located. Never been wowed but never had this terrible experience.

Not bad, but there are better options in town. Some items were ok while others could use improvements. A little pricey for the quality.

The absolute worst cannolis. Don't waste your money. Over priced everything. Will never come here again. $3.65 for a donut....seriously.

Without doubt the best egg nog latte I've had (although almost $8 seemed expensive, unless there was some real alcohol in there!) - The lemon bar, recommended by our tour guide, was equally delicious.

Best baked goods on the entire Oregon coast! Don't cheat yourself and treat yourself to a pillowy doughnut or a toasty loaf.

Had an iced latte with caramel sauce and a cinnamon twist. Unfortunately, the smallest size for an iced beverage is 16 oz. The cinnamon twist was really good, but the iced latte was a little too sweet for my liking.
