The staff is always kind, I have been several times and I always love it. You must get the Berry Tiramisu it is perfection!
I like the atmosphere here, great for a quick meet up or getting some work done. Quiet, well lit and clean. The menu is on the expensive side, on par with other coffee shops if not slightly more expensive. A perk for some - if dining there you can have your drink or food served traditionally on real table ware versus plastic/paper.
Really good salads. The chai is great! A bit pricey but their quality is worth it.
Since we really enjoy the location on 33rd and Broadway, my friend and I expected to enjoy this one, as well. Unfortunately, this was not the case. When I asked that the spinach salad accompanying the quiche be exchanged for salad greens (can't eat spinach), not only did the manager refuse to substitute green lettuce for green spinach, he pulled every excuse in the book for not doing so. To make things worse, the quiche was mediocre at best. In light of the lack of consideration for a simple and equal substitution, subpar food, and nonexistent customer service, I will NOT be going back to this location.
Love the teas and the ambience. This is my favorite coffee/ tea place in town.
Tbh, this place is great. Barista was friendly & my coffee was delicious 😍
Love this location!! Great place to have a meeting and a spot of lunch. I had the tuna roll. Fresh and delicious!! Staff we polite and helpful. I will certainly be back!! Thank you
If you didn't love this place it's only because you've never been. Try our both locations, the drinks are amazing the sushi is delicious.
This review would have easily been five stars sans the service. Unfortunately the service was too bad not to take into account. This was our first visit and with any first time visit, we like to ask the employees for their favorites. Micah was on the register and was most unhelpful. When we asked about the teas, he offered no help, except to say he doesn’t drink tea. So we asked is there a customer favorite(s)? Micah merely shrugged. When I asked about the different paninis, he said he will just push a button and then he would tell me my choices. I asked if the miso soup was good and he said he didn’t know because he has not tried it. We asked if he had tried anything on the menu and he said no and mumbled something about trying not to eat “something”. It would have been nice to have someone who personally tried menu items take our order. The other person behind him did not offer any suggestions either. When Micah brought our food to the table, he did not ask what meal or drink belonged to whom and placed everything down on one end of the table to separate out ourselves. Despite the service, we did enjoy the food and tea. Must try the breakfast quiche, bulgogi wrap, Korean blend tea, and Goguma green latte. We will not be back to this location, but we are looking forward to visiting another location.
Showed up on a Thursday evening at 7:30pm. They said that they wouldn’t serve me because they decided to close early since sales were slow. Even though their door and online had it posted that they are open until 8pm. There were approximately 10 other people that were there the same time as me that got turned away.
3 out of 5 service. Both the chocolate brownie and chocolate cake I have had both times I have been here have tasted bland. The miso soup was served to me completely cold and I had to ask for it to be warmed up. Pros: Sushi was good, clean bathrooms, charging ports near many of the seats.
Rude staff! My family and I had a really frustrating experience there. When asked a waitresses after waiting for a while when is our food going to be ready, she told me in a very rude way that I must be patient and that she has other work to do, she had an ugly attitude and turned all red. After talking to her manager I received NO APOLOGY, he just listened and didn't say anything. Definitely not giving them my business again!
I did not know that they had sushi but I got the all about shrimp sushi roll and very much enjoyed it. The sushi pieces were bigger than I am use to but there were delicious and filling. Would highly recommend. Their coffee is also good and the atmosphere is great for working or studying. Employees are friendly and helpful.
It seems like these days Resturants enjoy accomedating their customers. Not here!! Although it has a very nice interior & my friends meals looked really good, when I simply asked for a wrap with only 3 easy ingredients, I was told no, it couldn't be done. When the young gal taking my order asked the Owner (??) again, she came back out a second time and said "she said she will only do it this one time!" I politely said no, thank you. I have ordered this very simple wrap multiple times at the Broadway location and the Owner there is more than accommodating & even charges me less for the wrap since its so simple. I ended up ordering the waffle & asked for NO fruit, but as the menu's picture showed, I got fruit, including one I am allergic to!! We went to this one because its less than 5 minutes away. Won't make that mistake again.
The staff were polite and friendly, making sure to clean up after guests once they have left their tables. My spouse and I had ordered a few drinks and a parfait, which were all very good.
This location has great service and food. However, they frequently closes outside of their normal business hours, once for days at a time. This is understandable for maintenance purposes but they should announcing these closures on Google updates or social media. Update: Went in again today. Hours posted online say they close at 9:00. Door says 7:00. Employee told me 6:30.
I really enjoy the photography around this place. The environment is nice, clean and the drinks are delicious. They have sugar free options, many places don't! I haven't tried their food, but I definitely will be!
Bento box lunch is my go-to 😍
