The small batch drip coffee is wonderful and, at $3, great value. Bonus: the cup and lid are certified compostable.
Coffee snobs, I asked for an ice water for my daughter after ordering coffee. The barista politely told me to go to the drinking fountain. Go to On the Rise instead where they appreciate their customers.
The cappuccino was tasty and had a surprisingly good underlying distinctive flavor. I greatly appreciated the sparkling water. It was a nice touch and a great finish.

Prompt friendly service. They make a great dirty chai with oat milk and decaf espresso. Nice way to start a Saturday morning before shopping at the North Union Farmers Market at Van Aken center.

First time trying this place and it was awesome. Always prefer local coffee shops over chains and this place is a gem. Cardamom bomb is the way to go.

Second time at rising star cappuccino is filled with milk and no foam. Basically a latte. This time ordered dry cappuccino but still the same.
I go out of my way to enjoy a Rising Star latte on a regular basis- it’s like none other! The creamy, rich Hartzler Dairy milk combined with their espresso and spices in the Promise Land and Cardamom Bomb lattes are my favorites. All the locations have really friendly, hard-working and efficient staff, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Don’t miss this Cleveland star!

Eh. The coffee is decent, but they took too long to make the coffee (and no, I was the only person there). A little snooty if you ask me.
My 1st time having a lavender latte and it was absolutely amazing. The creaminess of the oat milk along with the lavender made for a delicious treat! Wish we had this in Akron.
Pure incompetence. Waited forever for my coffee, it never came up. Asked about it and they tried to push something on me that I didn’t order. Ended up walking away.
