One of my favorite coffee shops. Local and warm feel that is inviting, and relaxing enough to enjoy time in solitude or bring a group of friends. The coffee is excellent with seasonal picks.

We loved stopping in here for a morning coffee and sandwich. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and so are the staff! The decoration is great too - I always love seeing businesses that display and sell the work of local artists. Would definitely come again.

Downtown sandusky coffee shop. Latte was good, food was good, fresh and got out fast. It was almost full of people of all ages. Tables and seating area were clean and inviting.

Food is pretty pricey for the quality, but the coffee is good

Surprisingly big & open in here. Good menu options. Fats & friendly service. Small latte was $3.90. alternative milk options: almond & oat. Got a peanut butter cup cookie for only $1. It wasn't amazing but good enough for $1! Would've liked to try a breakfast sandwich... Next time!

What a fun coffee shop! Pumpkin Pie Latte was really good and the food was too! Has an old school vibe and the staff was friendly and helpful. They run specials about every day on coffees. My daughters got a strawberry smoothie which they LOVED! We will look to head back the next time we are in the area.

Great Vegan Eats. This coffeehouse has lots of options for the omnivores, & plenty for the vegan crowd. Very accommodating & understanding staff when asking for vegan. I had the Very Veggie Wrap w/ vegan cream cheese and garden salad w/ no croutons.

Clean and quiet local coffeehouse with a perfect downtown location. It can be busy most mornings so expect to have maybe one or two people in line in front of you. The friendly staff work to put out the orders quickly though, so there's usually a very short wait. We've tried Mayan Cocoa, Malted Mocha, and other lattes - they were all excellent! The Cappuccino is strong and bold flavored. All their coffee drinks have that bold coffee flavor without being bitter, making this my favorite coffee stop. You're definitely getting something better than hot candied milk! The prices are more than fair and everything we've tried so far has been excellent - beating the big chain coffee shops hands down! It's very comfortable inside with lots of seating options. Casual and inviting, check out the local artwork on display or the bookshelf if you're looking for something to read. I definitely recommend Mr. Smith's - it's the perfect addition to our downtown.

Great coffee, food, and ambience. There is some great artwork adorning the walls that are available for sale. Neat little local owned coffee shop.

A place to wind down before hitting the theme park. We found this gem while looking for a local coffee place in Sandusky. This place did not disappoint. Wonderfully optioned menu, and their pricing is A++++. Only problem we can find, is we don't live close enough to make this place a regular stop for coffee! You will not be disappointed with this place.

Fun, comfortable place to get a coffee or mocha. Pastries were solid, but any sort of speciality drink was too sweet for my taste

Great cold brew coffee and we also had a breakfast bagel that was very hot and delicious. Great prices—if I lived here I would come every day for coffee and studying! The venue is very open yet cozy and great for sitting and working or reading.

A clean, comfortable space for your morning Joe and a light breakfast. A great selection of coffees to choose from. There's nice artwork on the wall from local artists available to purchase. Only a couple outdoor tables. There was some weird customer there that asked that I move from one of the front seating rooms because she "came here for some privacy". We moved, but the least she could have done was buy is a $2 coffee. Who goes to a public coffee shop for privacy?!?

A coffee and lunch place with carry out or seated inside and some tables outside. Good efficient service and a variety of breakfast food including traditional egg sandwiches, muffins and pastries. Coffee is excellent. Get there early because they get busy. Stand at the counter, order food and drink. They will call out your number or bring it to you. Local art for sale lines the walls.
