Great coffee, people and location
The woman at the counter was not friendly, didn't even greet me or ask what I wanted to order, just looked at me and gave me the 'nod' to proceed with my order. She had a flat affect and seemed irritated that I was even ordering at all. And who offers chicken salad but doesn't give you a non-grain option to eat it with and charges you $6 for it? Because I couldn't eat it on a croissant, I had to eat it out of a cup. And I'm visiting from out of town looking with my boyfriend for our future hometown and coffee shops are usually very telling for me about the community and serve as a go-to meeting place with friends or to work on a project. I would not return here. And because I was wearing booties and they have wood floors, my shoes were louder than rubbery sneakers. I got lots of annoyed looks from patrons there. The vibe just wasn't welcoming, which is a shame.
Good place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Some choices for eating breakfast foods.
River Road always has great coffee. I had a breakfast sandwich on a bagel and a friend of mine had a sausage burrito. I love that they make their coffees either traditional or in a nontraditional way people are accustomed to.
The atmosphere is awesome! If I was still in college I would go there to study.
Excellent customer service. Beverages and food incredible. Prices a bit steep comparable to big name corporation prices not small town family prices.
House Coffee often does not taste fresh. Will try others...
My favorite River Road location! The baristas are always so friendly, the line moves quickly, and the drinks are consistently well made. I appreciate that the specialty drinks each have distinct flavor profiles...unlike some other coffeehouse chains in the area. :) I love the weekly "question wall" and participate whenever I have a spare minute while waiting on my order.
The coffee and food is fantastic. The service is always top notch, the staff is friendly and does their best to complete your order promptly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
I'm afraid I didn't like the coffee at all. I would like to see more food items to choose from
Not overly loud. Quite friendly atmosphere. Almost like Cheers from TV but without the active bar (that part is closed). The wait staff are amazing, serve you with a smile and more than happy to help with any information you might need to make your selection. And their hot chocolate is absolutely out of this world according to my wife. So now if I need make her happy I know what bring her home.
Great location and always parking available in the rear of the building. The staff at this location are always friendly and helpful. The coffee is great as are the cold drinks and pastries.
Drink wasn't quite as good as normal. But still love river road
Love this place tryed to come in at 4:30 but the door was locked even though they said they were open till 7 sadly disappointed
A little cramped, but still beautiful place
Staff are awesome, coffee is great. River Road is a great place to go and read or meet up with others.
