high tech and tasty
I visit Pettibone regularly. It's my Sunday morning wake up stop to prep for the upcoming week and reflect on the previous week. It's nice bring regular enough that I see others I know on a recurring basis. I drop in other times when I'm able. It's also a great date spot my wife and I visit to read, work, and converse in between. The staff is friendly no matter when you visit and the artwork is amazing! Stop in at the right time and you can see the artist creating right there in the shop. The pastries are amazing! I'm not a coffee drinker, but the pastries give me a selection to enjoy with variation, or I can delight in one of my "go-tos" like the cinnamon roll or the rose loaf.
Plan to return when I can stay longer, I got drinks to go. I grabbed two Snap Chilled cans of cold brew. Both are delicious
An excellent local coffee shop that quite surprised me! Giving strong portland vibes, it is spacious and inviting inside. Although a touch out of the way, it is well worth the trip! I got an Honduras pour over coffee and my fiancée got an iced mocha latte and we were very impressed with both! She specifically won't stop talking about going back, would highly recommend!
I’ve been here a few times and have enjoyed each visit. Love the changing menu and trying something different (and unique) each time. The atmosphere is cheery with the big windows and artwork. The staff seem to assume you’ve been there before so definitely speak up if you haven’t been there before. I still haven’t figured out if you’re supposed to bus your own table or not. Tip good if you don’t I guess.
Simple Sammy is my fav breakfast sandwich and I will order the Whiskey Carmel Latte EVERY.DANG.TIME 😋

It's a must! ..Worth a visit 👌❤...One of the best places that I will recommend it for all types of coffee , sandwiches, sweets, cakes..... I'm just a visitor here in dayton,Ohio but I can't stop passing by every day I hope if they can open it until 10 😅 I may then visit it twice a day 😜

Takes a LONG time to get your order. I ordered a hot chocolate and it came out very bitter. Nice atmosphere to study though.

I love the atmosphere at Pettibone. My wife and I came on a weekend where it was quiet and not too busy. We finished a crossword puzzle together while sipping on iced coffees and listening to the chill music playing in the background. It was a great experience.
Matcha iced latte was excellent on the warmest day of the year so far!
Limited coffee menu. My drink was okay, a little pricy compared to other specialty coffee shops. The sandwich I had was excellent. Staff were nice, not overly friendly. However the stools were the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat on. My lower back hurts worse from just hanging out there than it does standing on concrete for 10 hours and lifting 100lbs dogs onto tables, which is mostly where they lose stars. It has the atmosphere and space to be somewhere you could do remote work out of the house or school work, but those chairs are designed for you to sit there for 5 minutes and leave.

Outstanding place to have a cup of coffee. The food items looked great. I will have a sandwich next time.
Vanilla latte was great; no extra sugar needed. It’s a better experience than Starbucks and the shop is really cute
