Solid Downtown Coffee Shop....Service was very friendly! Coffee was good!
Great vibe, friendly service, good drinks and a love for the city. What more do you need?
I’ve been going here for a few years (not consistently since I no longer live or work in Cincy) but it NEVER disappoints! Literally THEE best coffee I’ve had to date! I love the Mudslide blended coffee. I think I get it every time because it’s just too good not to. Their snacks, sides, danishes are great too. Of course the staff is amazing. A great space in the city to chill out and take in the scene.
This is a don’t miss coffee spot in Cincinnati. We stayed in financial district but this was a very short drive or streetcar ride if you are vacationing here. Fantastic roasts and food selections, wraps, baked goods, yogurts, juices and quiches as well as specialty coffees, teas. I loved the espresso. Plentiful seating for singles, families, groups. Must go for breakfast. Line moves fast.
Busy place on the weekend but worth the wait. Some of the best coffee we have found in the area.
Iconic coffee shop in the Queen City but the coffee was average.
Great coffee, and pleasant staff... Beautiful atmosphere except, I miss the big comfy couches, and wish they were open later than 4pm!!!
Delicious matcha tea latte (hot) and by far the best peanut butter cookie ever!
Their fresh winter solstice beans are next level. I’ve been getting my fresh beans from them for last 2 years. They always have freshly roasted beans.
I arrived at 11:30am and it was packed. Even with all the chaos, the staff was friendly and I received my coffee quickly.
Awesome coffee spot. Always has a wide variety of single origin beans recently roasted
Good coffee, lack luster atmosphere. The coffee shop is designed to pump customers through. Despite its large size and terrific location, it is not a welcoming atmosphere - at least if you are looking to work from the coffee shop. The chairs are uncomfortable (and incredibly loud dragged on the floor) and the ultimate kicker is that the internet resets every 45 minutes, requiring the user to log off whatever they my be doing and reconnect. Deeper Roots locations are better suited for the work-from-the-coffee-shop type.
Great space to spend time in. I got the hot chocolate with some spice to it and it was great. The service was also great and were able to adjust my drink after I ordered which was certainly a blessing! Also got the coffee cake which was very good flavor and texture!
Had never been there before, a little pricey but good.
Hot chocolate was very watered down. I think they don't use milk nor Cocoa..tasteed like Instant mix. I have had a better one at Sitwells. Pastries are good and have a great variety. Lots of seating, wifi and places to plug your charger. Not open very long though. Staff were so nice i thought they were bots or something lol.
Busy but the line moves fast. Good coffee and excellent quiche at reasonable prices.
Nice place, great selections and they have some lunch/cafe type of food, but I didn't see any pricing on them so I have no idea if they are affordable to visit often as I work a block away. I ordered a White Chocolate Truffle latte at 1:30pm with hardly anyone there and only 1 person waiting for their order. It still took 12 minutes to get it and it was lukewarm at best. Tastes great, but I wasn't thrilled with my visit. Might give them another try soon.
If you have food allergies in Cincinnati, skip all the hype about the Sleepy Bee and come directly to the Coffee Emporium! Might I humbly suggest the banana nutella muffin is!
Loved it here. The ?manager? Was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when picking out ground coffee.
1st time to a coffee shop Absolutely enjoyed it will definitely recommend to anyone we'll be going back
