As coffee shop connoisseurs we were excited to go here while visiting from out of town as it came highly recommended, but it was disappointing to say the least. The baristas were unbelievably rude, seriously rolled their eyes at us while taking our order, the vibes were really off. The coffee itself was not good, it’s probably time to clean your machine. As we sat there trying to make the best and enjoy the atmosphere it felt really unwelcoming due to the behavior of the staff so we left. Says a lot about the owners if their employees think it’s okay to act like this. Do better or do something else.

A staple coffee shop of 25+ years in the community. Providing a true coffee shop ambiance for those seen in the movies and TV series of the 80’s - 90’s. Be you looking for a place to study, gather with friends, or looking for a place to ponder the universe. You will find it here at Urban Stampede!

Good coffee and great ambiance make for a great place in Grand Forks to either start your day or wind down. Bring your computer and stay for hours for work or play. The staff is also always very friendly. The occasional live music sesh is also a great vibe on a sleepy weekday night. Everyone needs to experience hanging out at the Urban Stampede.

Lived in GF for over a couple of years and can't believe I tried Urban Stampede just today. Great coffee and spring drinks! Ordered some donuts as well. I believe it came all the way from Fargo. Great ambience. Has that hipster vibe to it. There was even a guy who painting in one corner. Must try if you're in Grand Forks. 💯

This place could take all of my money. I love the Bramble Berry latte. Much berry, much flavor. This place is a lifesaver being so close to my job and keeping me well caffeinated and energized.

Honestly one of the best cups of espresso I've ever had. Period. Wonderful service. Excellent drinks. Loved that we were able to purchase the same beans that their espresso is made with. Definitely a new "must stop" place on our list when we're in town.

Dude I love this place. Not only is their coffee top tier and very original, but the workers are always nice to me, my boyfriend and friends too. At this point I could call them my friends. Plus it’s extremely aesthetically pleasing.

Super cool coffee house. The service was good and friendly. I really appreciate people who reclaim old buildings and keep some of the character features original. We really enjoyed the coffee and spent longer here than planned because hey, this is such a nice spot. If we are in town again we will be back.

My wife and I came here to escape the cold in Grand Forks! The coffee was excellent and the atmosphere was awesome. We both brought books in to read. We will be back.

I had a churro waffle and a blueberry oat smoothie and they were both delicious! The building had a fun aesthetic and lots of outlets.

This has quickly become one of my favorite coffee houses in town. Staff are always friendly and professional. Food is AMAZING and has giant portion sizes. Drinks are made perfectly. You can expect a longer wait than what's usual for this kind of stop if you are getting food or going during busy times. They do get busy and all of their food is made fresh. Definitely worth the wait and the price!

This coffee shop is a quaint medley of old architecture, eclectic art, rare drinks (as well as common) and great vibes. Get an iced Busy Bee with oat milk. It is so smooth with the exact right amount of lavender.

Not my vibe really. Unkept place and food was lacking flavor. Dirty chai was good, however.
