baked goods are always delicious. customer service is not good. part of my order was not in the bag. she had boxed them up and forgot about them. i called to confirm i wasn’t charged for them. i was not, however the girl who helped me did not apologize for making that mistake. inconvenience for me as i do not have time to go back and get them. i understand people make mistakes however she did not seem concerned she had made this mistake.
Absolutely love everything we have tried from there. Only bakery we will drive 45 minutes to get to and have never been disappointed.
Quite disappointing, it says a lot to throw away carrot cake and a brownie for dryness and lack of taste.
Went in to check it out because they had cream puffs. I don't know what type of cream filling they used but it wasn't cream it was some thing else that tasted like frosting and was way too sweet. I got some dog treats for my dog and she refused to touch it. When she finally did she was sick for about 2 days after. I had to throw them out. I don't know if they were old or what was going on but disappointed. Whole Foods cream puffs are pretty good and didn't cost as much as this.

For the second year in a row, Apple Annie's took an order for breadcrumbs for Thanksgiving and then on the day we went to pick them up, they canceled the order. We ordered days ago. Called beforehand on the pickup day and were told a couple of hours later. Then they called back and just cancelled the order. I used to recommend them to everyone. No more...

Bought the chocolate checkerboard cake for Mother’s Day. It fell apart when cut- so dry. It said the frosting was buttercream but it tasted like fake cream. Had no flavor. Threw it out!
Not a lot of light inside. It seemed very dark and unwelcoming. Very nice lady working and delicious product.

Both locations leave things in the case far too long and you can tell when you taste it. Service at this location is subpar. Put a smile on your face and address people politely
My wife ordered my daughter's 11th birthday cake from this location. We have always used the Kerr Ave. location prior. I have ate an Apple Annie's birthday cake almost every year for 40 years and loved everyone. My kids have had one as well, this year the Military cutoff location did the cake. The cake itself was good, the icing was like eating a pound of butter. Every kid at the party, including my daughter, scraped it off. I tried it and it was nauseating, no sweetness at all, like raw colored butter. I don't know what the problem in the kitchen is but it should be fixed. 90.00 for what I expect is fine, I pay for quality; I could just sprinkeled strawberry syup on a bucket of country crock and had the same result this time. My wife called about it and said she wasn't happy but wouldn't tell me why. I am not going to call back and we won't be back there.

I usually only take the time to write good reviews, but since it's the 3rd time I have had the same issue I'm hoping managment will take note. On 2/12/21, I purchased 2 Linzer Tart Cookies (large), Black & White cookie and a BearClaw. The Black & White crumbled like bread crumbs the icing just fell off.Both Linzers Rasberry preserves were like glue not fresh like at all. . I know not a large order but not the point.I hate when I have to throw money away and not even get to enjoy.. I have been in the food / service industry most of mfy life and I have always said if you wouldn't eat it ,Dont Serve it.You have a Great Bakery, just hoping for better consistency. Thanks
I’m only posting review only because I got no response from management I bought a cake and a immediately fell apart after waiting in line for two hours and being ignored on Christmas Eve. I would not recommend wasting your hard-earned money on this company especially with such terrible Service, not even to get back to you when you call and tell them your childs cake has fallen apart on the walk to the car. Update to my review the manager made it right and gave me a full refund which is much appreciated. An honorable business in this day and age is hard to find

There's good cinnamon roll and then there's Apple Annie's! I don't know why it's taken me this long to show some love for this great bakery! I discovered this bakery many years ago at their Mayfaire location. I was hooked! I eventually had to stop going that way on my bike rides because it was too much of a good thing. Now I've gotten myself under control and I try to do it once or week or less, but oh my is it worth it! If you really want to experience it to the fullest, go to this location when they first open and get it fresh! Words can't describe the ecstasy of a warm cinnamon roll from Apple Annie's. You owe it to yourself to visit this amazing bakery! I"d for sure sing for a lifetime of free cinnamon rolls if they offered! For them, let's sing, "Beautiful", from my "Better Than" album, but let's sing it like this, instead of "the taste of your lips," let's change that to "the taste of your cinnamon rolls", too much? Thank you Apple Annie's for making our Sunday's wonderful!
The lemon cake for my daughters birthday was exactly as dreamed off by my 5 year old daughter! Amazing - every single guest loved it - absolutely delicious and beautifully designed in pink an purple. 5 Stars for sure!
