This place is amazing! The fruit smoothie and pumpkin spiced latte was delicious! The owners even took a couple of minutes to speak with us about the area. Super friendly! Another place to visit when we come back for sure!
We spent a week in the Spruce Pine/Linville Gorge area. DT’s was our go to place for great coffee and food. The owners were very kind and helpful with places we should hike.
We ate at DT's Blue Ridge Java Coffee Shop & Cafe yesterday morning for breakfast. My family enjoyed everything about it so much the food, the atmosphere, the service. They asked if we could go back again today. So, we did. And, the cafe is consistent. Quality. We are likely to eat here again tomorrow. Great job DT.
Love this place. Great food, friendly, and fast service. Decently priced for the food you get. Their homemade deserts are amazing as well. My wife and I go there at least twice a week for lunch.

We stopped by for some breakfast before a hike, and absolutely fell in love! The whole atmosphere and staff was exceptional. While we didn’t quite know what we wanted, (everything looked so good) I didn’t feel rushed and felt cared for in just the short time we were ordering. I ended up getting a breakfast bowl and mini chicken sandwich, amazing!! The coffees were the best I’ve ever tried. On top of being so good, they are affordable too! I will recommend them to everyone I can! There’s also additional seating in the back, so there’s plenty of space for large families. Take my word for it, this place is worth stopping in! Thank you for such an amazing experience, while we aren’t locals your restaurant alone is worth coming back for!
Great little coffee shop in Spruce Pine, NC. Outstanding employee's, owners and food. Great atmosphere. Great prices too. Visit them, you will not be disappointed.

Always clean with fast and friendly service. We usually eat lunch but gave breakfast a try and I highly recommend The Calamity!!
Food and service are great every time I come here. The special breakfast side item of cheese grits today were absolutely fantastic (feel free to email me the recipe!). Love the atmosphere. Coffee is delicious.

Service was great, coffee was amazing & fresh , I will recommend this coffee shop to everyone. it has a lot of space for big groups of people .Taylor did amazing job with my drink and my friends coffee and the staff is very friendly . Definitely come back next time I’m around town .

Awesome staff!!!! Simple good food or snack but mostly I stop in for a coffee refill or to buy some coffee beans.
