Great Rueben Sandwich!
I ordered the Daily Jumbo Sandwich because it looked delicious on the menu board. It was, in fact, delicious. There was a large amount of pastrami and the slaw was sweet and fresh. Loved it. Also, if you’re looking to warm up on a chilly morning, I recommend the hot chocolate. Sooo yummy.
Literally my favorite breakfast and coffee spot in rocky mount You can get food cafe style and then have some of the best coffee around even better than Starbucks seriously

Slow, slow . It wasn't busy , no one in line in front of us , we waited 10 ,15 minutes for two cups of coffee and a muffin, while we waited a couple of people came in and looked and ordered, not sure why the wait person moved at a snails paste maybe she wasn't feeling well my wife says it's the south everyone is slow here ,we are not from around here, the food look good coffee also was good, given the server the benefit of the doubt that it may been just an off day I would recommend giving this establishment a shot if you're looking for a good lunch , btw it seemed clean
A nice gem in downtown Rocky Mount. The hot dog was excellent, especially the chunky chili.

Really wanted to like this place. Got my brother an Italian Sub on Saturday(1/22/23). The restaurant was clean and people friendly. Back to the sub. The bread was inedible and hard. He is shut-in and this was suppose to be a little treat.
I ordered a Rueben Sandwich today and was one of the very best I have ever had. This is a great place with good food and nice people. You need to try it for your self.

This was only our second time, but I came back specifically for the breakfast sandwich and their Persian tea. I got my tea (which is so dang good), but ended up getting the special sandwich - homemade coleslaw with pastrami on a Kaiser roll. I didn't go wrong there either. I can't wait to go back again because the Persian tea will always be on my order!
This place to me reminds me like The Young & The Restless Soaps where they go to Coffee Shop to talk inside or the outside nice atmosphere
What a lovely experience! Never A Better Sandwich is like an oasis in the desert. It's much more than a sandwich shop with a variety of salads and soups to round out their sandwich menu. Dine in and carry out. The specialty that I appreciate the most is Yalem Kiros' authentic Ethiopian coffee. Aromatic and smooth. Beautifully and thoughtfully presented in fine china. Yalem is the owner and curator of the single sourced coffee beans that she personally roasts on the premises, and according to the ancient traditions that she learned as a child. Oven fresh bakery items such as muffins and croissants are baked each morning. Beautiful artwork adorning the walls and comfortable seating make this beautifully appointed shop a destination, particularly if you travel I-95. I visited with a group of 10 from Maryland and South Carolina, and we all had a wonderful experience. Friendly, accommodating servers, delicious food, fair prices, generous proportions, and an inviting atmosphere. We loved it! Looking forward to going back.
This deli has the best baked goods, soups, and sandwiches! We are so happy we discovered it and now visit once or twice a week! The staff is friendly. The tea and coffee are very good and it has a very lovely atmosphere. (Today’s choice was the turnover and the croissant breakfast sandwich)
Great price. Good service. Breakfast Croissant was delicious and huge! But that chocolate Croissant was the star of the show. It was amazing! Worth the visit all by itself
