Driving thru on vacation and searched up a spot to feed breakfast to our hungry crew. The place has a relaxed vibe in a historic bank building. Full menu with something for everyone, even for the GF, Dairy-free no coffee family member. We go to lots of local coffee shops. This is in my top 5 now. Food was excellent - everything we ate was exceptional. Service was welcoming and relaxed. Coffee, tropical smoothies and chai were delicious. Spacious seating areas and high ceilings. Will visit every time we’re in the area. Thanks to the staff for taking great care of us this morning!
Best coffee shop in Rocky mount….must visit.
My son reserved the event room to celebrate his engagement. The pastries were phenomenal, coffee drinks were delicious, and the service was excellent.
Amazing repurposing of an old bank into an airy tiled coffee house. Delectable coffee beverages and pastries. Some outdoor seating as well.
I havent eaten there but ive enjoyed Karoake there several times. Its a nice vibe. Highly recommend
Definitely 5 stars for this coffee shop including Taste, Service, Atmosphere, People, Structure and everything. I am not a big coffee but still wanted to have coffee at this place. This is the first time I visited the shop. Located at a prime corner location in downtown. Ordered Cappuccino coffee. They served coffee at my table. It’s a big mug and very well made. I loved it. People are very really nice and helpful. Wanted to some more time but couldn’t make it. But I would love to visit again and again. Thanks for the great coffee.
Love the food and the atmosphere here. This is located in an old bank, and they still have the original vault, now in use as a pantry, I believe. Great place to have coffee, study or enjoy a meal with someone. I really like it here.
Really cute industrial space filled with plants and tons of natural light right in the heart of Rocky Mount. They also have a small local items for sale inside. We had the Rosemary & Brown Sugar Latte and an Americano. Both were delicious. Highly recommend.
Donna and I had an "over coffee" meeting with Rose Hunter/Buck Leonard Association ( I recommend the Buck Leonard Crackerjack Coffee Latte). The place was friendly and comfortable, and the owner, Kevin, is a pleasant and knowledgeable businessman. Larema is a grand asset to the area. Stan Colson (aka Douglas Quinn).
If y’all aren’t eating breakfast/brunch/lunch at Larema Coffee House you’re missing out! Last week I tried their house made crossiant with ham & egg (of course I could only eat half), the best I’ve ever had!! This morning we split a waffle with strawberries & house whipped cream! The most delicious & flavorful waffle. No comparison to anything I’ve had before. Thank you for always being amazing! ❤️
100 recommended Delicious honeybun cheesecake Coffee amazing and relax atmosphere
This place is an unexpected gem in Rockymount. Not only the location itself is worth the sight but this place serves fine coffee and has pour over. Also the treats are also worth the detour - had an amazing cookie there.
If I lived closer, I’d come back everyday. Good food and great coffee. I love that there are plants filling each windowsill - creates an overall very cozy atmosphere. There are several great gluten free options including dessert!
I was delightfully surprised with the quality of my coffee and the courtesy I received when I came to visit this coffee shop. Also enjoyed the welcoming vibe and pleasant atmosphere. Looking forward to returning next time I'm in town.
Went for their Jazz night and had a blast, great music and food options, love that they have clearly marked vegan options, we’ll definitely be back to try their breakfast menu
This place was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food and coffee were great, and the atmosphere was relaxing and warm. Anytime I come back to Rocky Mount, I plan to try and stop by.
This is the best coffee shop in Rocky Mount. The owner and his baristas make all customers feel like regulars.
I had a delicious cortado made by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Will definitely come again!
Desiring a chill vibe, and good coffee, we tried out Larema for dinner tonight. We were not dissapointed. The food menu is simple, but full of healthy and delicious house and locally made options. I had a decent latte tonight, but the one I had last time I visted was absolute perfection. I was really impressed by the quality of the coffee and the unique drink options, especially for the area. They were so accomodating when my friend with food allergies and senitivities required a special order. I am coming back with a veggie friend so I can share the buffalo cauliflower, carrot fries and various other veggie options since my dinner partner was not a fan of these options. I am so excited to have found this place that reminds me so much of the coffee house I pretty much lived in during college. Located in a historic building downtown, it provides an alternative to the corporate and generic coffee options that are common in Rcoky Mount. I will be back soon!
Everything here gives me a good gut feeling...literally from the coffee to the sandwiches...can't wait to try the homemad3 version of pop tarts with my dark brew pour over.
