Want to feel like a TRUE Raleigh local? Grab a coffee and some fresh, hot breakfast at Third Place! This is hands down some of the best breakfast I've ever had at a coffee shop. Everything is always so fresh and never fails to hit the spot when I start my day. One thing I especially love about this place is how there are several healthy AND delicious food options. You can both see and taste the high quality ingredients that go into each item! Also, lets talk about the ambience - the cafe is very inviting and cozy! There's some really neat, eclectic art hanging on the walls, so if you're into the arts this is definitely the spot for you! And even if not, it is still a very welcoming atmosphere for all. Whether you're on a date, out with the family and kids, or just feeling a solo outing you'll feel right at home here!

I walked into this this coffee shop for the first time ever today and just as I was about to order a coffee when i saw a ROACH sitting on top of a danish behind the glass! Yes, a roach! It was the craziest thing I have ever seen in my entire life, that we would survive COVID, two full years of quarantining and wearing masks only for some coffee shop to want to kill us with their unhygienic food practices is disgraceful! Completely unacceptable! I took a picture, I wish I knew how to post it on here. Never in my life have I ever, experience this in an eating establishment! Visit at your OWN RISK! Really google needs to give people the option to put NO STARS and leave a review!

Awesome coffee joint we found thanks to Offline. Would definitely go back - wish it were closer to us in Durham, but worth the trip!

If you want to drink coffee like a local, Third Place is your spot. It is a Raleigh icon and has excellent staff, a relaxed vibe, and great coffee. Parking on Glenwood is precarious so just turn down the next street for parking!

Great vibe, great coffee and doesn't feel like any other coffee shop I've been to. I'll definitely be come back.

Great place to stop for coffee and a bagel if you are in 5 points. The staff here is also very nice and welcoming!

A wonderful way to start my day! It feels more like family at the Third Place and Josh makes the best egg/cheese bagel I've ever had! Selection is good; muffins wonderful! Parking on Glenwood Ave is the only downside, especially on busy weekends. But worth it!

The parking situation at 5 points is always limited/tricky. I felt the place was overpriced for the service/goods I received. It wasn't clearly listed how much of an upcharge for certain items so my total was a bit jarring. The staff didn't notify us of how much the difference was going to be.

I have never been to the third place coffee shop and I was excited to go. A lot of locals had written good reviews on it and when I walked in it was a cozy environment. The service was OK, which doesn’t bother me really. After I asked for my vanilla latte with oat milk, they said the total would be $9.04. I hesitated for a second, and then paid. I have never paid nine dollars for a latte in a city before, even in NYC. I’m not quite sure why the high cost, but I won’t be coming back as that is not sustainable for me.

Must visit Raleigh shop with a wide selection of made from scratch meals, foods and beverages (many local and organic). Tasty, satisfying, nutritious, original and environmentally friendly are front and center at the Third Place. Comfy, groovy fixtures and sounds saturate the environment. Its walls are laden with wonderfully electric art by David Benson (ultimate man of many talents), the same guy who curates the iconic Giant Acorn that's dropped just before the start of every Raleigh new year. Warm, relaxing and inclusive - expect smiles, laughter, peace of mind, and extensive reading material availability during your visits. David, JJ, Elizabeth and all the other staff are very personable, attentive, hospitable, caring, lighthearted and deserve all alotted 5 stars for the very magnificent place the Third Place is!
