My sister and I stumbled upon this little gem on Memorial Day, the aroma and witty sign pulled us right in. Plenty of vegan or vegetarian options. The owner manned the counter and boy was he a hoot, definitely in his element. The food was fresh and quick. I had a vegan sandwich that was by my surprise served with a cold bean salad and couscous. Filling and priced well for the area.

The veggie sandwiches are delicious, especially the Angus. I usually don't care about deli sides, but the Israeli couscous and chickpea salads are good enough that I would go there just for those.

Great local spot for coffee. I only stopped by briefly to grab an espresso for the afternoon so I cannot speak to the food but the coffee was excellent and the owner was very friendly. I would definitely like to come back to try the food options.

Fresh & healthy food, fresh bread seems home made, great customer service. This place is great for people who like bland but simple food.

Healthy, delicious, friendly, eclectic. As a professional traveler, I get around. I always look forward to my Raleigh trips so I can go to Sosta. Thanks for the consistently great experience.

What an amazing little cafe! The food was what I would expect from a super Ritzy 5 star restaurant - everything was beyond delicious and the portions were perfect! The atmosphere was incredible - lightheaded and relaxing. It's my new favorite place in downtown Raleigh!

Great place to grab breakfast and lunch. If your looking a light but fulfilling Mediterranean food, this is the place. I generally grab coffee and breakfast before heading into the office. The owner always has a great atmosphere

Sosta has been a staple in my dining routine for years. Jerome is a great human and employs a small but mighty staff to serve up the best salads and sandwiches in Raleigh. Try out Sosta for your next lunch downtown! You won’t regret it.

I think I’ve found a fav new lil raleigh cafe. The guy working (maybe the owner?) was super chill. It’s got a solid menu with veggie and non veggie items that all come with really tasty couscous plus white bean salad. Got a good decaf cappuccino. The guy working there also helped a guy in a motorized wheelchair come into the cafe, which was cool. Nice art too

The best lunch spot in town for vegetarians and vegans. Staff is super friendly, great vibe, and substantial serving sizes too.

Delicious little cafe! We enjoyed 2 of the vegan sandwiches and tried all 3 sides. Everything is made in house, high quality and well proportioned. We drank a latte and kombucha. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Can't believe I haven't posted a review yet! I've been going to Sosta for lunch anytime I'm in Raleigh for years now. The Dude Where's My Chicken sandwich is the absolute best vegan chick'n salad ever. The pearl couscous salad and chickpea salad are my favorites. The food is so filling and the prices are great. I bring everybody here whenever they're traveling with me. It's also right in downtown, a quick few blocks from the museums.

Surprisingly, I had the worst experience here today. I used to work at Red Hat so was familiar with Sosta but had not been recently so was excited to pick up lunch to go. The man at the counter (who I assumed to be the manager or owner - tall man with dark hair and glasses) was very rude when I asked about the menu, to the extent that the woman in line behind me chimed in. There are plenty of regulars that come in to Sosta and he was nothing but nice to those who ordered after me. The food was great but I could do without the negativity.

I love this place. Phenomenal sandwiches, generous sides, and perfect coffee. The restaurant is comfortable for dining in, and they're also really quick for takeout. I've eaten here twice and will be a regular.
